Early Edition With Joe Mathieu

Good Monday morning from WGBH Radio. Joe Mathieu and the Morning Edition crew have punched in and are ready to bring you the news of the morning. Hot is the word of the day as a heat wave, although not official yet, is well under way. A less than great opening weekend for your Boston Red Sox, who started out fine on Friday, but got trounced the rest of the way by one of the worst teams in baseball. Meanwhile one of our Morning Edition team members was out and safely socially-distancing to watch the Sox’ opener and apparently ended up in the paper of record because of it.
