Early Edition With Joe Mathieu

Good Friday morning and Happy Independence Day weekend from Joe Mathieu and the WGBH Morning Edition crew. Joe is back to broadcasting from home for the holiday weekend and raring to go for today’s Early Edition. Restrictions are easing across the region, and on the surface that should make us all happy, but anecdotal evidence from our Early Edition team shows that people may already be pushing the envelope, as crowds are growing and mask use appears to be waning. Please stay vigilant out there, whats going on in much of the rest of the country tells us this is no time to relax. We’ll catch you up on weekend plans and the latest news.
