Early Edition With Joe Mathieu

Good Friday morning from Joe Mathieu and your friends on the WGBH Morning Edition crew. Friday still hits differently on quarantine, but most of us are very happy that the “threshold of the weekend” has arrived. Big news for one team member that involves a puppy… because puppies solve everything. Meanwhile the real world news isn’t great as usual… lots of issues out in Michigan as their governor literally has to fear for her life, prompting Joe to wonder if Governor Baker also needs more security. But the weekend is here and hopefully we can put some of that out of our minds and safely enjoy the good weather. Thanks for waking up with WGBH Radio, enjoy your weekend.
