Early Edition With Joe Mathieu

Good Wednesday morning from WGBH and our homebound Morning Edition team. Joe Mathieu and the crew are up early, with a massive craving for pizza… particularly from one spot in Roslindale. Mayor Walsh joined us on Facebook live yesterday and we were his first stop after Governor Baker announced that schools will remain closed for the rest of the academic year. However it is the buildings themselves that are shut down, online learning will continue for the duration. Are kids excited by the news? Consensus seems to be that being stuck at home has dulled the shine on that announcement for our young ones. Gronk is headed to Tampa, which certainly appears to be a match made in heaven.
