Pastor Mike continues in the study of 1 Peter with the question: How much of a risk taker are you? We will see in today's message that God loves people and He is very patient with them. At the same time, when God makes the decision to judge, He is very "just" in His judgment. Noah was a man of righteousness and he trusted God enough to build a huge ark that would save many if they would have chosen to believe, but history says "only a few" were saved. The old saying is "history repeats itself" and that's exactly what scripture says that before the end comes and the rapture occurs, it will be as in the days of Noah, and the same thing will happen - only "a few" will be saved. Not because God couldn't save more, but because the people will be just like the people of Noah's day and they rejected the message of the coming salvation and thus the risk they took cost them their eternal life.
