It used to be common in humans and most animals but a steady diet of toxins and pharmaceuticals like Advil, glyphosate, pharma drugs of all kinds plus food additives like polysorbate 80 that is found in many processed foods including ice cream and can slowly kill off L-Reuteri and other beneficial gut bacteria that can allow can overgrowth of bad gut bacteria leading to a common condition called SIBO.
