Peter was told by God to do something no Jew had ever done before, and he naturally thought it was strange. But he realised that if God had told him to do it, he had to do it and that God would protect him from negative reactions. We are called to be different from the world, and an example of God to those around us. in the same way Peter was protected by God, we will be too when we stand our for Him.
