Pastor Mike continues in 1 Peter talking about the great love God has for His children and how He proves it to us through judgment. Peter emphasizes this in our text today, how judgment begins in the house of God. Is this a way that God shows His love? Think about it this way, God loves us so much He wants everyone to be perfected and completely delivered from the bondage of sin. Suffering and judgment are the ways that God perfects His children. Sounds hard and difficult possibly but when we can grasp that God's intention is to make us the BEST we can be, then we can begin to accept and embrace the justice of his judgments now while we have opportunity to be changed.
