Until the final game of his career, all signs pointed to College Football Hall-of-Famer Sterling Sharpe going down as one of the greatest receivers to ever play in the NFL. So, what happened to Sharpe? Tragedy. At the height of his career, in 1994, Sharpe suffered two neck injuries in back-to-back games while playing for the Green Bay Packers. As it turned out, his career was over. He was 29. But with his playing career over, Sharpe became a renowned sportscaster and finally got a Super Bowl ring thanks to his brother, Shannon Sharpe.
