A week ago, I found out that my podcast had a bigger audience than I even realized. I am doing end-of-the-year gratitude and wanted to take a moment to say thank you for listening and sharing. I have also been pondering how all of the holidays happening around the globe at this time of year have a common theme amongst them:  Light! Beginning with Diwali, then Hanukkah, Yule, Christmas, and Kwanzaa…they all feature Light as part of the celebration. Specifically in the form of fire (or candles). So for us experiencing the winter months, in the dark days of winter, it is beneficial to remember how there is such Light.  Sometimes, the celebration lights don’t reach us. Sometimes it feels like the candles were blown out in the wind, and there are no matches left in the box.
