Brandon Turner is a professional skateboarder for over 20 years, skating for popular brands such as Shorty's skateboards, Osiris footwear, and Sk8mafia to name a few. We discussed growing up in San Deigo, moving to Japan as child, moving back and skateboarding with other legendary skateboarders like Peter Smolik. We touched on some of his hardest tricks, his newest part in the Sk8Mafia video, and how he has overcome his past life and his road to recovery. He now owns and operates Westside recovery a substance abuse rehabilitation located here in San Diego with a diverse approach empowering other's through their journey to recovery. Enjoy!

Flxwz (pronounced Flowz) is a San Diego based artist that was recently nominated for Best Rap Album for the San Diego music awards. With his roots beginning in the hard core scene he quickly made the transition to hip hop and has not looked back. He has worked with other San Diego artists such as producer Tre Castro, Josuė Josuė, to name a few. He is an artist that is truly on the rise and has his sights set on bigger things in the future. Gerardo is the owner of Provecho Coffee Co. based here in San Diego, CA. This was such a fun conversation that is filled with his journey into coffee, and how he feels that the universe kept pulling him back to coffee every time he tried to step away. He has humble beginnings with Provecho, starting as catering company, then moving solely to coffee pop ups, and to now opening his first coffee cart in Bread & Salt, a local art gallery in Barrio Logan. Marco returns to C&G, and this time he brought a new homie along, Brandon Keeper owner of Wavy. I brought the boys on to discuss the their upcoming project and new shared space in National City. Mike D of The Heavy Breathing Foundation a non-profit out of Vista, California pulled up to the shop. The Heavy Breathing foundation helps disvantaged youth through strength training and providing a place to help one another and build confidence through training.
