What d'ya hear? What d'ya say?Welcome to our 9th Trilogies episode, Film Noir edition. We hope you enjoyed our last episode where we looked at The Dark Knight Trilogy from Christopher Nolan. We are getting the podcast back on track after a few weeks/months away. As it is November aka Noirvember, we thought we would have a Film Noir themed episode. This trilogies episode is a little different from the rest. We of course will be looking at three films, but we're making our own trilogy. The films we will discuss are not connected per se as in Film 1, 2 and 3. No, they stand alone films though they are connected by a single character. That character is Detective Philip Marlowe, a private investigator created by author Raymond Chandler. Along with Dashiell Hammett and James M. Cain, Chandler was one of the great writers of pulp hard-boiled detective crime fiction. The films we will be discussing are some of our favourites. Murder My Sweet (1944) directed by Edward Dmytryk, The Big Sleep (1946) directed by Howard H
