The Duke Blue Devils absolutely took the wind out of the Miami Hurricanes in a 89-54 beatdown on Tuesday night. Scott Rich joins us to discuss it all on Episode 683! It’s Jason’s birthday (happy birthday Jason!) so he’s only on for a few minutes at the beginning to discuss Caleb Foster’s really good game as well as how bad the Miami defense was in letting Duke get any shot it wanted. After he departs, Donald and Scott go through the rest of the good, from Kon Knueppel’s career day in points to Khaman Maluach’s 15 rebounds to the great games from Mason Gillis, Patrick Ngongba, and the rest of the bench. The defense was there, the shooting was there, and Bill Courtney and the Canes just didn’t have the pace to keep up with the Blue Devils. After the break, it was as close to a full 40 minute performance as we’ve seen from Duke, but there were still some details to clean up from this game.
