She has B.A. in Communications and Business and M.A.in Business with a Certificate in Volunteer Administration. She was one of the four founders of the Volunteer Administrators of Northern Nevada (VANN) and currently is a Board member of the Alliance of Nevada Non Profits, The Nevada Women’s History Projects and a member of the Foster-Grandparents Advisory Board. She is the supervisor for one of the largest AmeriCorps VISTA programs in Nevada. Dex Thomas (Program Services Technician): Dex has been with WCSD for 8 years. He has a B.A. In Human Services/Management. Dex started working as a teacher assistant at Rita Cannan Elementary as a second job while working as the director of a foster care agency. There he worked with mainly the after school program helping the students learn technology and sports. After a few years he came to the WCSD fulltime as a R
