We're back! And it's that time of year again, when Hollywood decides what are the best films of the year! What do we think of the nominations, and which one are we rooting for? Did your favorites make the list?

We're back and it's Oscars season! And we're quite impressed with this year's lineup! Who will take home the coveted Best Picture? We reveal our predictions and what we're rooting for!

What a year it's been for film! Not a lot of new releases to see, but several rewatches and going back to discover what film history has to offer. Stevo talks about his newly piqued interest in David Lynch films, and Jake talks about watching more Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese! That and so much more! What films did you rewatch/discover this year?

Hey everyone! Without even trying, we are now on a Martin Scorsese binge. We discuss his first personal film, Mean Streets, and a thriller masterpiece, Shutter Island. Also, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko have left Netflix's adaption of a live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender! What does that mean for the future of the show?

We're back everyone! For those looking for information during these times of racism tension, many films offer unique and perhaps helpful perspective. We talk through a list of movies that we found beneficial, such as Selma, The Help, Fences, In the Heat of the Night, and A Taxi Driver.

We're back! What has everyone been watching while staying at home? We've had quite the lineup ourselves. Jake finally gets around to watching Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Stevo found Denis Villeneuve's first films, August 32nd on Earth and Maelstrom.

The 2010s were our decade. The time when both of us began to explore what film was and could do. And did it reward us! We have both made lists of our favorite films from the 2010s and what they mean to us. Time to reminisce and geek out over favorites! What were your favorite films of the decade?

What a ride 2019 has been! So many good movies! We recap the Oscars night, go over our favorite releases of the year, and look back on films we saw for the first time! "1917," "Little Women," "Knives Out," "The Third Man," "Paul Thomas Anderson, Jake Gyllenhaal, everything is on the table. What new movies did you see? Which were your favorites?

Part 3 of our summer film watching! We discuss "The Sting," in which Paul Newman and Robert Redford set up the master con; "The Night of the Hunter," a gothic crime story from the eyes of a child; "Touch of Evil," Orson Welles' rather timeless police hunt involving international crime; and last but first and foremost, possibly both Jake and Stevo's favorite film of the year to date: "Whisper of the Heart," a Studio Ghibli film that calls to all artists.

In this episode, we discuss movies not released in 2019 that we saw together for the first time this past summer. We watched Denis Villeneuve's thrilling "Prisoners," Akira Kurosawa's cold modern rendition of Hamlet "The Bad Sleep Well," John Ford's masterpiece "The Searchers" starring John Wayne, and French Resistance escape film "A Man Escaped." And this is just Part 1!  

Hello everyone! We are back! This summer has been quite busy for us, but we have not been idle nor have we forgotten about y'all! Let's talk about this past summer. Some of the releases we went to see include Toy Story 4, Spiderman: Far From Home, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tolkien, Yesterday, and so many more! What was your favorite movie this summer?

Need we say any more? This is the biggest film of the year, very possibly of all time! Plus we have special guest Jordan White joining us for the show!
