In this episode Colin talks about his latest Barn Owl painting which includes a very impressionistic tree trunk! This leads us onto talking about blending aspects of realism and impressionism together in a painting. We also talk about the similarities between soft pastel and PanPastels and being able to layer pastel pencils back over the top.

In this week's episode Colin talks about the benefits of using a limited colour set for his PanPastel work and how this can benefit students with their understanding of colour. We also talk about 2 more projects aimed at children and the new classes we've added this week for everyone.
