Emmy Wilson is a Pastor at Holy Trinity Brompton church in London (the church that founded the well known Alpha Course). She founded the Earl’s Court Project, a street ministry helping those affected by various addictions, and Alpha for Prisons. Her work includes Alpha training in prisons globally. Emmy and Peter will be interviewed on the topic of ‘How the Church Can help to Transform Society?’

Christianity is a bit like a bar fight. Before you become a Christian, the wrestle with God is on the outside. After you become a Christian, the fight just moves to the inside. When people think of religion, they may think of a set of crusty beliefs and oppressive rules. As a result, many today are fine with spirituality, but not religion. Christianity is not less than its core beliefs, but its also so much more. What if you, or those around you were to discover, that “losing your religion” meant you moved through the beliefs of Christianity into spiritual power?

Is losing your religion about doing whatever you want? On the other hand, you can lose the Christian religion by being overly religious. Religion and Irreligion: although at either ends of the lifestyle spectrum, could it be these two ways of life are actually coming from the same thing? When it comes to Christianity there seems to be people on 2 different sides. One side says – I’m not a religious type and the reason the world is messed up is because of yours. The other side says I am religious and the reason the world is messed up is because of your lack of it.
