Psalm 1:1-6 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,  2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.  3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. 4 Not so the wicked! Psalm 4:1-8 1 Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.  2 How long will you people turn my glory into shame? Hebrews 10:22 22 Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
