After Greg Epstein, an atheist, was selected to be Harvard university's chief chaplain, he told the Yew York times, "there is a rising group of people who no longer identify with any religious tradition but still experience a real need for conversation and support around what it means to be a good human and live an ethical life." On December 7th 1988, a massive 6.9 magnitude earthquake devastated the northwestern section of Armenia, killing an estimated 25,000 people. There were two earthquakes that year in Armenia which killed a total of 60,000 people. In one small town, directly after the earthquake, a father rushed to his son’s school only to find that the school had been flattened and there was no sign of life. But he had no thought of turning back.
