Paul and friends meet with the Jerusalem church leaders to collaborate on vision for the movement. None of us our islands to themselves. We, like Paul, must work with the people of God in serving our community. We submit to the team. We confirm the value of our contribution to the Kingdom in hearing from other faithful Christians around us.

Paul looks at his own life and testimony and each step of the way, it shows that the Gospel is from God and not the invention of man.

Paul is worried about deserters and distorters of the faith and defends the true Gospel against a fake gospel being spread.

In dealings with those we conflict with, we are to humbly serve them even when we feel they do not deserve it. In so doing, we show ourselves to be children of God.

How do I stay in unity with someone while we are in conflict with each other?

When someone does me wrong, how do I still love them?

David, in his unresolved conflict with Absalom, is the perfect example on why dealing with the pain of disagreement is so important.

The new self that Jesus gifts to His followers strengthens and motivates us to be kind, tender-hearted, and forgiving to one another. We can resolve conflicts rather than letting them fester.

All relationships are reconcilable because or broken friendship with God was restored by Jesus at the cross.

Jesus came to the world as light into the darkness.

Jesus is taken to the temple by His parents to be dedicated to the Lord. Two servants of God, Simeon and Anna, came to honor Him and praise God.

God helps Joseph understand the circumstances he is in through a dream. In this dream, all the attention is on the Son to be born, Jesus our Savior.

Jesus has a great message for us to hear: He is powerful enough to rescue us from our past mistakes and sins.

God wants believers and unbelievers to grow beyond their various areas of ignorance.

We were saved so that God could disciple us in faith.

Jesus is able to transform any life, even the person ready to end it all because of emotional despair.

God shows up in very ordinary circumstances, even doing laundry. God directs His people to divine appointments with those who need a word from God.

Jesus tears down walls of racial and cultural division in the hearts of the messenger and the recipient.
