The Georgia Guidestones are more than a bit of a mystery. They were erected on March 22, 1980 and allegedly authored by R.C. Christian. They contain 10 guidelines in 8 different languages that all seem pretty aligned with peace and understanding except for the first one - maintain world population under 500,000,000 people. Why would a peace-loving and altruistic group include such a nefarious guideline in their plan for world peace? Fairy Circles and Fairy Rings are quite different in actual physical form, but they have been called the same things. I breakdown the difference and focus on the latter for their mythical and supernatural attributions. A poem, "The Stolen Child" by W.B. Yeats kicks it all off as it ties in fairies and their origins in Celtic lore as a backdrop for examining these natural manifestations in nature of their "places" or "portals."
