How can I know that the Bible is true? This is a question that everyone comes to address in their faith journey. Every believer, no matter how new or mature encounters points of doubt as they walk by faith with Christ. In the first four verses of Luke's gospel, we are introduced to Dr. Luke and a man named Theophilus who was interested in the account of Christ, but needed some assurance of the validity of the claims of the Gospel. God is ok with our questions and can answer them all in truth.

We hear (and talk) a lot about our rights. Rights are very important, and fundamental to the human experience. But, are my rights the most important thing? In this message, we look at the words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount to see how our rights are safest in the hands of God, and most efficiently protected and preserved when God is the arbiter of justice.

When was the last time you considered the depth of God's love and patience? In the book of John, Jesus speaks to His disciples and describes how God expresses an abiding love that draws us in and also keeps us in Him. It also enables us to love others as we settle into his love. In this message, Don Flynn shares how his relationship with his dog teaches him the depth of Christ's abiding love for us.

What is your word worth to you? In this message, we look at Jesus' Sermon on the Mount where He discusses the importance of being people who love honesty so much, that a lie is not even a thought.

Most people consider themselves good because they don't do extremely wrong things like committing murder or cheating on their spouse or robbing a bank. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus notes that the heart may be sinful before the hand ever moves. In this message Pastor Derek Holmes looks at Jesus' words about adultery and the heart of lust to see that God considers the condition of our lustful hearts just as much as He does our wandering eyes or adulterous ways.

Have you ever killed someone? Most of us can say we haven't. But, have you ever been angry at someone? Most of us would say we have. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus begins to dismantle all human efforts we make to proclaim our own righteousness. He says that refraining from murder is good, but handling our anger righteously is what God really looks at.

In this week's message, Pastor Chris Rieber continues to walk through 2 Peter. In chapter 2, we see a strong warning about those who would misuse the Gospel and a pulpit for unholy reasons. What are the marks and what is the plight of a false teacher?

Before the New Testament was completed, the early church had to be very discerning in which preachers were actually preaching a solid word from the Lord. Now, almost 2000 years after the canon of Scripture has been settled, the church needs to be equally as discerning. In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber looks at the words of Peter to outline some marks of a faithful message.

Who is Jesus? This is a loaded question. But, it is also the most pivotal question you will ever be asked. In Matthew 16, Jesus asks His disciples the same question -- "Who Do You Say That I Am?" This question and the way we respond to it can set the course for our eternity.

What do you find yourself chasing after in your life? We all have goals and dreams and ambitions. Nothing wrong with any of those -- until they distract us from the only true pursuit that matters for eternity. In this message, we look at Jeremiah's plea to the people of God to turn away from conventional earthly goals to see the importance of pursuing the knowledge of God.

As we close out the "Changed" sermon series, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the most tragic figure in all of Scripture -- Judas Iscariot. Judas is proof that it is possible to live in close proximity to the love and grace offered through Jesus Christ and still reject the invitation to follow Him with your whole heart and soul.

Continuing to look at the people who were fundamentally changed when they met Christ, we look at Saul of Tarsus who was changed from bounty hunter persecuting Christians to the first missionary the world ever knew after a meeting with Christ on the road to Damascus.

In part 2 of a message on the spiritual armor of God, Pastor Chris Rieber looks at the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit. God has given us everything we need for success in spiritual battle, but we have to grab hold of it and clothe ourselves in it.

Protective gear is important when engaging in dangerous things. In Ephesians 6, Paul outlines the reality that believers are continually engaged in a spiritual battle with sin and the enemy. Thankfully, God has provided all the protection that we need to stand firm and stand strong when the enemy attacks. In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber investigates three of the six pieces of spiritual armor designed to protect the follower of Christ.

In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber looks at the real threat the Devil still poses to the believer.

In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the famous "submission" passage to see how all our acts of deference are first and foremost a response to Christ and submission to His authority and grace in our lives.

While Ephesians 1-3 is concerned with all the believer has been given through salvation in Christ, chapters 4-6 are concerned with how the believer should walk responsibly in the newness of life. In Ephesians 5:5-21, the emphasis is for the believer to walk as children of light who no longer adhere to the way of sin, but opposes and exposes sin and the darkness of life without Christ.

In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at Ephesians 5:1-5 at how the deep sacrificial love God has for us should overwhelm and captivate our hearts to obey the command to imitate His love toward others.

In this message, pastor Derek Holmes looks at the fact that the morality of Christianity is one which is fueled by an inward change from Christ, rather than an outward change of moralism.
