Wow, that’s a weird thing for a marketer to suggest!?Right? Have had a few conversations with folks this week and I hear a lot of “We didn’t make enough sales,” or “Oh, we’re so busy, but we didn’t have time.” No, no, no, no. If you didn’t make enough sales his week or if you didn’t acquire enough new clients let’s get real for just a minute. There is only one responsibility and that is really yours. It might be the technique. It might be your closing skills. It might be that you didn’t get out and hustle enough this week. You didn’t get out and really talk to enough people or you didn’t take that last minute complicated case that’s gonna come your way this Friday afternoon at five p.m. So, when I hear people say “Oh, I didn’t get enough sales this week,” or “We didn’t get any leads this week,” there’s only one person to blame for that and it is not everyone else around you.

We talked about a ton of stuff in the month of February, and by the way my name is Valerie Vanbooven, I’m a registered nurse and a co-owner of LTC Expert Publications. If you haven’t seen the Valerie V show, we do a short video every other day or so, sometimes every day, depends on the week and how busy things are. And we help you with home care marketing, elder care, senior care, anything in the senior care space we help with online marketing. First thing we want to talk about is, who sells home care leads? Well if you look on Google, or if you’ve talked to other home care agencies …

We are going to start with websites 2018, elements of a great lead generating website, and a lot of people have been asking those questions. What should I really be doing with regard to a website? Some of you may not need that information, we’re not going to spend a huge amount of time on it, just a little bit, and then I have a bunch of questions and answers that came from all of you. So we’re going to go through those, I think those will be the most helpful.

You want to make sure that your website captures as many leads as possible. When a consumer comes to your website, they’re only going to do one of two things. Well, you only want them to do one of two things. You either want them to make a phone call or fill out a form. That’s really all you care about because the bottom line is, “How many people are inquiring about my services? How many referrals am I getting? How many leads am I getting?” Phone call and form. Only two things, two.
