An encounter with the glory of the living Christ is indeed a mountaintop experience. Many of us experience those Christ-moments in the worship setting at church on Sunday. Those experiences can be so powerfully moving that we never want them to stop; we want to stay right there on the mountaintop and bask in the glory of our Lord. But, we cannot stay on the mountaintop.
