Music has always been a special part of my family. Like my father, and his father before him, I am musically inclined. I am proficient at playing the drums, organ, piano, bass, and guitar. I began to follow in my father’s footsteps at the age of seventeen when I took a keen interest in playing the piano. My grandfather, James Aubry Walker Sr, greatly inspired me to play the piano. The style and sincerity with which he played had a profound impact on my spirit, even as a child leading into my adult life. I have always wanted to play like him, in a slightly more urban way. I began to write and compose music in my senior year of High School.
