As the guys returned from a week’s break, parenting expert Maggie Dent called through to help out with parents who are returning their kids to school from tomorrow. Hectic times!   Steve Butler also chimed in to get the team across everything sport…*crickets*. Actually the AFLW All Australian team was announced and the lack of WA talent was not good according to Steve.   And some stories about when you just had to keep going with it….like Adam who was asked to drive his boss’s car, even though he couldn’t drive. Ben Elton dropped into the studio to chat about Queen (the band not the monarch), famous people living in WA and how he goes touring.   Karl Stefanovic had to defend himself when Shaun accused him of dyeing his hair – although he admitted to it currently looking very healthy.   And ever been in that situation where it was too awkward to correct someone? The guys caught up with Fitzy over in Sydney who had to do the show from his house after a workmate got diagnosed with Coronavirus. Lego Masters returns this week and Hamish is PUMPED - he’s still amazed with the absolute bonkers creations the contestants come up with each week. Perfect for lockdown viewing!   Speaking of lockdown – you’d think being stuck at home would mean less injuries. Not for our workmate Hannah, who managed to break her foot whilst in Iso. We heard more stories about injuries in lockdown, including one that involves pine-o-clean.   And the woman we all love to watch with the Premier – the amazing interpreter Fiona Perry joined us for a chat! She has to try and grasp the emotions and expressions of the person she is interpreting, as well as what they are actually saying. And no, her hands aren’t insured. Personal hand sanitiser – that’s the role that Mark McGowan suggested for Nathan! The Premier is also basically just in meting all day everyday – and he’s doing a fantastic job of running the state. He won’t take the praise though – it’s a team effort and we’ll get through the COVID together.   A guy over in China just had a knife removed from his head after a casual twenty six years. The guys heard stories about other things stuck inside people, like Christmas decorations, bullets and insects. Ex-employee Shaan left yesterday and took a big tub of hand sanitiser with him. Turns out taking stuff from work when you finish up is thing! Like Amy who took 3 months’ worth of meat when she got laid off from a butcher.   Justin Longmuir our beloved coach of Freo gave as an update on the COVID sitch at Freo, the boys are desperate to get out and about and kick the footy! Plus he told us about his son who sold his PlayStation before this COVID thing.   And a bloke who won a joy flight pressed the wrong button and ejected himself from the aircraft! Our very own news darling Tracy Vo is back in the west to be here for the WA lockdown – and she’s very happy to be home! The guys got up to date with how she’s been coping, and also checked in with her parents to make sure they’re doing ok.   Steve Butler updated the team with all things sport – which he says shouldn’t be super far away from returning. Fingers crossed anyway!   And people are being fined for participating in non-essential activities, and it’s costing them a fortune! Seems everyone is baking now we’re all stuck in isolation – Donna offered some tips for Hot Cross Buns, and told us a bit too much about her feet. We love you Donna!   Lynne McGranger AKA Irene from Home & Away called through to give us her hand sanitizer recipe, and let us know Home & Away has 6 months of episodes in the can so Summer Bay should be ok!   And some decisions you regret for a long time – like a old lady who accepted a bell as a gift instead of painting, which ended up being worth millions. Michelle denied her husband some shares in a company which is now rather large…and Shaun, well Shaun invested in the wrong pub. Dr Clay Golledge called in to explain how bringing the social distancing measures back to normal now is NOT a good idea. He also reckons wearing gloves can be helpful – Nathan had other ideas!   We dialled into the Galapagos islands – that’s right, there’s a guy over there stranded with his wife on a boat, they can’t get off! Covering the important stuff – the guys asked Karl is he’s been using ‘Just for Men’ because his hair looks darker. He says no. He also reckons things are pretty tough with a new baby in isolation, but like everyone he is pushing through.   Fitzy buzzed through to the show to catch up on all things Iso – his kids have been learning breakdancing! He’s also hosting a Coronavirus special on Channel Ten tonight.   And the people quarantined on Rotto are 10 metres from the beach and can’t even get there - Rebecca’s parents took the boat out to Alcatraz and didn’t bother going in, and Joel caught an uber to the Hollywood sign to not even make it there.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Steve Butler joined the guys to talk sport – which isn’t much at the moment to be fair! The guys reminisced about the good old days and also got some racing talk in – the only sport industry that’s still moving along at the minute. Stay positive though – sport WILL return soon!   People have been sneaky trying to get in and out of towns/areas they’re not meant to be in. Ever snuck in our out of somewhere you weren’t meant to? Vonny told the guys about her teenage boyfriends run in with her Dads shotgun, and Grant remembers the inside of the boot of his car from all those time trying to sneak into the drive-ins for free.   Plus we heard from Janelle whose daughter has started playing ‘Work Mum’ role play games. The Aussie Men’s cricket coach called in to talk about the Amazon prime documentary ‘The Test’ about the team’s recovery from scandal – it’s amazing, JL is amazing. He’s also reminding us to stay safe and with our families during this tough time – something he’s loving doing.   Hero #2 – Twiggy Forrest. Possibly the nicest billionaire ever – his foundation has pledged up to 160 million bucks to get medical gear from China for WA. What a hero.   Hero #3 – Patrick Zippel. He’s just a regular guy stuck in quarantine in a 5-star hotel, and surprise everyone – he’s not complaining about it! Po from Master Chef is back on our screens on Easter Monday so she called in for a chat.   Adam Gilchrist aka Gilly called in – he gave NNS a quick update on the cricket.   The guys put the question out there – when is it okay to dob your neighbours in? With the uncertainty of school closures and Year 12’s ATAR we caught up with Penrhos Principle Meg Melville to find out what the school has implemented as a result of COVID19.   Also, with lockdowns and self-distancing now in place we wanted to know what your weekend plans are?
