The guys got to speak to Wildcat Mitch Norton’s mum this morning – Anita! She’s currently holidaying in Perth and is absolutely loving it. The basketball legend will play the Cairns Taipans tomorrow and told NNS about this week’s hectic training schedule.  An 11yo girl has turned green – literally! She was at home making a bath bomb and the colour ended up coming off and going all over her. NNS heard from people who looked strange for a couple of days. Kaci had a fish net stocking sun burn, Holly had a yellow tooth and Jack had funny looking legs.  And apparently, there’s a Kylie Jenner, Brad Pitt and James Bond all living in Perth – sadly not the real ones! NNS spoke to people who are constantly having issues with their names. TV royalty Rick Ardon and Susanna Carr stopped by as Channel 7th celebrates its 60th birthday! The duo have been on our TV screens for nearly 35 years and they don’t plan on quitting anytime soon. They told NNS about the days without an auto cue and some of their favourite news stories they’ve covered! The big Matthew Pavlich stopped by and chatted about the AFL trade period which is coming up soon and a charity he is working with to engage and empower young people to be mental health heroes in the community. And newsreader Ellie was brought to tears yesterday after a police officer pretended to tell her off for stealing NNS’s quoit. The guys wanted to hear from people who were brought to tears by something or someone. Remy Hii called in for a chat with NNS this morning, you may know him from Crazy Rich Asians and even earlier in his career Neighbours but this time he’s landed a role in the latest Spider Man movie, Far from home – already out in cinemas! He’s been having a lot of fun in Europe but is heading home to film more Crazy Rich Asians. Sporting legend Alicia Molik called in ahead of the ATP cup. The Perth girl took the tennis world by storm reaching 8th place in the singles, winning a bronze medal for Australia. Her life has changed slightly with two young children she told NNS what life is like now.  And Mitch Marsh is hot water after he punched a wall causing his hand to break after a poor performance yesterday. NNS’s road trip to Collie took a turn for the worse when the van got broken into and producer Claire’s bag got stolen. The thieves took her favourite lip gloss and a phone charger but left a $500 voucher behind. The guys heard from Trish whose home was broken in to a while ago and the thieves took half a kilo of chicken and some ice cream and Steve was left devastated after his cleaning cloth was taken from the back of his ute. A cruise ship has become the largest vessel to sail through the Corinth Canal in Greece. It was so close the guests could touch the sides of the cliff as they went past. Jo was lucky to enough to hold Winston Churchill’s original speech, Robbie touched part of a 1966 space ship and Jenny and Billy Joel bonded over shoe laces! NNS had a jam-packed show with heaps of sporting legends this morning. Wildcats super star Mitch Norton stopped by and gave the guys a rundown on his career. He said his parents are still convinced he should be playing a different sport!   And after a heavy shoulder reconstruction Perth Glory star Chris Ikonomidis is back in action after a long time off after the close grand final last year. He’s been over on the East coast lapping up his mums cooking.   And the guys heard from people who interviewed someone they will never forget – after a man was caught out for lying during his job interview. Writer Kaz Cooke joined the guys to talk about her latest book ‘Up the duff’. She told them about parenting nightmares, a lot of boob chat and how to host a good baby shower. A South Australian public servant has been sacked after he allegedly peed in the work kettle. The guys wanted to hear from people who have ‘that’ person at work. A guy at Tahlia’s work crashed in to the brick wall outside of their workplace, Patrick pulled a great prank on his colleagues and Tanya’s work place had a big toilet problem. And Nath and Shaun crossed live to Hong Kong to speak to Drew Morton who is a local living amongst the protests. It’s all happening tomorrow night when the latest Bachelorette Angie Kent begins her journey to find love. She spoke to NNS this morning and filled them in with all the latest details for the series ahead. A young boy in Queensland received the fright of his life after a massive Groper leapt out of the water and tried to grab him while he was fishing with his family. NNS heard from people who had been grabbed. Mark had a similar experience with a cuttle fish and Claire had a battle with a shredding machine at work. And yesterday NNS spoke to Rebecca who told them about her very unusual first date. The guys heard from people who had very bad first dates. The show everyone has been waiting for is on tonight and that is Love Island Australia – NNS thought there would be no better way to celebrate than speaking to the angel herself, Sophie Monk. She stopped by and gave all the low down on the new series.  A man working in the Pilbara was badly burnt after his work shirt got hot in the sun. The guys heard from people who had issues with their work uniforms. Anna had a highly flammable pair of work pants and Chandler had to wear a very uncomfortable dress to work.  And Shaun saw a couple of kids struggling after they decided to take on the rapids in their canoe. They capsized a short while later and needed help. NNS spoke to people who gave it a go and very quickly realised it wasn’t a good idea. She’s learnt her lesson from being a judge on the show for so long and limits herself to a slice an episode. And it was a long ride home for some people yesterday after a serious crash caused major traffic delays on the freeway. Property guru Andrew Winter stopped by and gave some very good tips on when to buy, the current housing market in Perth and the economy in general. He’s here filming ‘Love It or List It Australia’ and hinted that the next house is north of the river and is somewhere hilly… Shaun’s wife Meegan takes copious amounts of bath towels and mats on holiday and she doesn’t think it’s strange. NNS spoke to callers who do things which might sound a little weird to everyone else. Corinna has an issue with cooking different meats and Ros has a funny way of doing her laundry.  And the man who allegedly stole an expensive piece of art work from a pub in Fremantle has been asked to hand it back. The guys are back from their holidays but before they went away they managed to speak to ILLY. He came in the studio and chatted about how being a high school dropout wasn’t a bad thing. A random law degree he managed to obtain and his love of spearmint milk.    Nat went to the Jamaica for her holidays and treated herself to a seat in business class for the flight home. She got served some good karma as she was bumped up to first class free of charge. The guys wanted to hear from people who were served good and bad karma. Tahlia lost her job but was rewarded shortly after and Sarah had a rough time during her first aid course but thankfully her university placement worked out well.   And a video has been circulating social media of a guy refusing to move out of a carpark bay at Mullaloo beach. The guys are heading off on holidays so today they jam packed their show with stacks of guests. Earlier on in the show they spoke to Dannii Minogue about the show ‘The masked singer’ which kicks off next week. Dannii told the guys there are heaps of well-known celebs on the singing show but it might take the viewers at home a while to guess who they are.                                                                                                                &

TV favourite Lynne McGranger – famously known as the character Irene Roberts in Home and Away joined the guys this morning as she prepares to get her kit off for charity! The show ‘Ladies Night’ starts next week on Channel 7 and Lynn said as soon as they asked her to be a part of the show she couldn’t say no.  Last night on The Bachelor Matt had an opportunity to strengthen his feelings as he spent alone time with the final three bachelorettes. Unfortunately, Helena just couldn’t come back from her horrible hometown date and wasn’t given a rose. NNS spoke to her this morning and she was glad the journey was finally over. And an experienced bush walker had a fall and had to ‘carry’ his broken leg for two days…the guys heard from people who had to carry strange things. Pia Miranda was named queen of Survivor last night so NNS joined her for a chat this morning. She gave it all she had and managed to take home the title. She’s going to catch up with Luke Toki soon after she cut his journey short the night before and how hard it was keeping the secret of winning from her family.  A car was stopped on the road in Darwin due to a large number of crocodiles blocking the cross way. The guys heard from people who saw something on the road. Kim was stopped by a rogue emu in the metro area, Dani was attacked by a group of slow moving turtles and Kayla found her dad in the middle of the road… And Shaun thought he misplaced his wallet yesterday at the swimming pool – turns out he had left it at home on the kitchen bench. NNS spoke to people who realised they were losing their minds. Heaps of people are outraged and already,17 Go fund me pages have been set up for Luke and his family. And Nathan was just about to go to sleep last night when he noticed a spider on the wall, he tried to kill it but it didn’t move so instead he moved in to the spare room for the night. NNS heard from people who will never sleep in their room again. Cricketer Dave Warner has had a pretty terrible season, he finished the series with a 9.3 average which has sadly earnt him the title of the lowest average to ever be received in the history of cricket. The guys wanted to hear from people with really bad records. Jackson had a tough run at school, Kristy dated a lot of Shane’s and Tahlia has struggled to keep a job since she was 20. Shaun woke up this morning with his knee’s hurting really badly – he’s concluded that he’s just getting old. NNS heard from people who jumped out of bed too quickly. Shelley’s husband had a nightmare and nearly hurt himself, Michelle got tangled up in her bed sheets and Laura’s arm popped out of its socket.  And NNS mate Steve Butler from The West called in to talk about all things footy. The grand final is fast approaching and Steve had a lot to say about it. Movie royalty stopped by this morning Rachel Griffiths and Michelle Payne. The new movie called Ride Like A Girl is out in the cinemas next week. Rachel directed the movie and told NNS about how she managed to get Michelle on-board.   Nathan found a photo of him in a cricket team and he cannot remember being in the team at all! Jessica had the same thing happen to her when she found pots at her mum and dads house and Nicole mustn’t have been very good at dancing because her mum can’t remember taking her.   And two lifestyle bloggers have been locked up in Iran after allegedly flying their drone for Instagram content. The guys wanted to hear from people who had been to interesting places which have a bad rap. Elly was left heartbroken last night after she didn’t receive a rose from Bachy Matt Agnew, she spoke to the guys this morning about what she did after the dumping, her current relationship status and her plan to work on her ‘laughing face’ – whatever that is! A truck driver cause chaos on the freeways yesterday morning with traffic at a standstill during peak hour. The guys wanted to hear from people who had been hated on by a large amount of people. Tommy had the whole population of Darwin hating him, Paula had the hard job of calming passengers down during a flight delay and Joe and his wife caused chaos when they left the drive-ins.
