17/10/2019 Duración: 36minThe guys got to speak to Wildcat Mitch Norton’s mum this morning – Anita! She’s currently holidaying in Perth and is absolutely loving it. The basketball legend will play the Cairns Taipans tomorrow and told NNS about this week’s hectic training schedule. An 11yo girl has turned green – literally! She was at home making a bath bomb and the colour ended up coming off and going all over her. NNS heard from people who looked strange for a couple of days. Kaci had a fish net stocking sun burn, Holly had a yellow tooth and Jack had funny looking legs. And apparently, there’s a Kylie Jenner, Brad Pitt and James Bond all living in Perth – sadly not the real ones! NNS spoke to people who are constantly having issues with their names. The duo have been on our TV screens for nearly 35 years and they don’t plan on quitting anytime soon. They told NNS about the days without an auto cue and some of their favourite news stories they’ve covered! The big Matthew Pavlich stopped by and chatted about the AFL trade period which is coming up soon and a charity he is working with to engage and empower young people to be mental health heroes in the community. And newsreader Ellie was brought to tears yesterday after a police officer pretended to tell her off for stealing NNS’s quoit. The guys wanted to hear from people who were brought to tears by something or someone. Brock couldn’t stop crying when he gave his daughter a white bird for her birthday, Derek cries over anything Christmas related and Emma cried all the way to Mandurah after she killed a butterfly when she was driving. The Perth girl took the tennis world by storm reaching 8th place in the singles, winning a bronze medal for Australia. Her life has changed slightly with two young children she told NNS what life is like now. CATCH UP - Our van got broken into!
14/10/2019 Duración: 24minNNS’s road trip to Collie took a turn for the worse when the van got broken into and producer Claire’s bag got stolen. The thieves took her favourite lip gloss and a phone charger but left a $500 voucher behind. The guys heard from Trish whose home was broken in to a while ago and the thieves took half a kilo of chicken and some ice cream and Steve was left devastated after his cleaning cloth was taken from the back of his ute. A cruise ship has become the largest vessel to sail through the Corinth Canal in Greece. It was so close the guests could touch the sides of the cliff as they went past. Jo was lucky to enough to hold Winston Churchill’s original speech, Robbie touched part of a 1966 space ship and Jenny and Billy Joel bonded over shoe laces!
