Have you ever said something you wished you could take back? What we say matters. Our words have the power to tear down or build up. They make a difference, so much that the Bible tells us that they either bring life or death. There is no in-between. It’s time to align the words we speak about ourselves, others, and our circumstances with God’s Word. Let’s take the lies captive and replace them with His truth!

We live in a world where people search for peace in everything—except in the One who can actually give it. What many of us call "peace" is actually escape. We turn to temporary distractions, but the anxiety and emptiness we feel linger. Nothing in this world can satisfy the deep longing of our souls for rest.

Ezekiel 48:35 NIV“And the name of the city from that time on will be: [JEHOVAH SHAMMAH] the Lord is there.”

Jesus took our sin, our shame, and our sickness upon Himself on the cross so that we could be healed. It’s a truth we can rest in because the Word of God is His will, and the Bible shows us who He is through His names. One of the names God declares Himself is Jehovah Rapha, which means “the Lord who heals.” We can have faith for healing because it’s who our God is! Tune in as we trust that He will do what He said and reclaim the healing that belongs to us.

Through His sacrifice, Jesus took the punishment that we deserved. He took our place so that we could be forgiven of all our sins. We couldn’t pay for it or earn it, so He came to be our righteousness. Jesus willingly laid down His life for ours, and we have now been restored to life and adopted into His family!
