Cohen Bros week has hit, so we delve into 2 comedies made by the renowned Cohen Brothers.

This week Pip and Paul pick a couple of old classics to wash the aftertaste away of all those new films they've been watching. though they may come to regret that.......

Pip and Paul check out the African sensation of the Wakandian nation..... black panther., the go back in time to help Queen Anne to hold court in the favourite, then we descend into a political conversation following Vice. the movie made us do it. lol

This week we look at the comedy depiction of a black policeman investigating the KKK and then we look at the black and white winner for best director , Roma

This is the first of a series of Eps where Pip and Paul line up the contenders of Oscar Nominations against winner Green Book starting Bohemian Rhapsody and a Star is Born.

Pip and Paul journey to a galaxy far far away to a time just after breakfast to plough over the much maligned Force Awakens, to see if the force really is sting in this one. Also dust off your cravats and join them in this wordy British classic the kings speech

This week the battle of the grudges commences , as Pip throws down Legally Blonde to try to irritate Paul with its vacuous and superficial seeming antics, does it work? Next Paul counter strikes Pips impatience for long winded films by pulling out the longest and windiest of them all. the All time classic Lawrence of Arabia to find out if nothing truly is written. NO PRISONERS !!!

This week Pip and Paul take a look at the harrowing new European film called Land of Mine and draw some pretty explosive conclusions. Then they have a big blue of an old favourite Secondhand Lions 

This week Pip and Paul take a gander at the new Bohemian Rhapsody that outlines the life of Queen and Freddie Mercury. Then its time to grab your bango and float down the river with them in Classic Deliverance.  

This week we take a look at the fun little British comedy Cuban Fury , and then dive into the dark world of Gun running in Nick cages classic portrayal in Lord of War

Wow this week was a shocker, having been ambushed by these two sleeper ball kickers. We apologise for the extreme length of this Ep but there were some serious issues to unpack and discuss that demanded longer than normal.   Mr Pip is a film that covers the Bougainville island civil war , and is beautiful and brutal in equal measure. it was a hard watch, but did it pay dividends ?   Next we look at Micheal Catons film Last Cab to Darwin which tries to tackle what seems every heavy issue in Australian society and may very well have gotten away with it.... perhaps.

Warning, this podcast is only to be listened to at midnight, standing looking broodingly out over a crime filled city, preferably wearing a cape!!   This week Pip and Paul go for a leisurely cruise down Psycho boulevard in the eerily brilliant but quirky film Nightcrawler, brought to you by Pips mum (well done Mum). Next, its time.....Don your black cape, warm up the Batmobile and get ready to strike fear into the hearts of villains everywhere. Yes its time to put bat man through his bat paces in his most celebrated movie to date, The Dark Night.    Was that better Carly?

The Year has ended, and we celebrate with a review of subtle British comedy (so you just know that Pips not going to like it) called A death at a Funeral. then we look at recent Australian post apocalyptic hot mess Cargo, can it redeem itself in the end

Ho Ho Ho Merry Xmas Kids, This week we bring you our inaugural Xmas Special with 3 special movies with 3 very special Seasons messages. The latest Grinch (2018) animated offering  of our favourite green villain with young Charlie, Pips 7 year old daughter (dont ask), then we kick with pips Xmas soppy masterpiece Love Actually. and lastly if you need a break from from all the Xmas cheer and you want to Grinch your way through the holidays, Paul presents something a little special for those with a brave heart. Based on the Balkan genocides of 1993 we have this timeless classic Savior that illustrates why we should have peace on earth and be kind to all people.

This week we have a small chat about the Dollop before we launch into the film made about 17th century Frontiersman and general bad arse  Hugh Glass called The Reverant  staring Di Capri o, go figure. Also   we examine the film named Burke & Hare about two lovable scamp serial killers and Resurrection men who jump the gun staring Simon Peg and Gollum. 

This is a rather long Ep this week as Pip and Paul wrestle with the 2017 hit of War of the planet of the Apes.  Next they gather up their unicorns , cupcakes and rainbows and immerse themselves into the dark brooding world of Robin Williams masterpiece of wishful thinking in What dreams may come.

We apologise for this weeks recording been delivered to you in mono as the right channel decided to go on holidays.  Putting that to one side we look at 2017 hit movie Baby Driver and Australian music style movie, The Sapphires

This week Pip and Paul haggle over the merits of Daniel Craig Vs other previous Bonds . and disscus the merits of this Popcorn Western, "Cowboys and Aliens". Also they dive quite deeply on the Civil War classic "Glory" and its links to today.   Also this is the first episode that has been filmed and will be released on YouTube when properly produced.

This week we look at the 1980's cult classic Blues Brothers bespangled with music legends and haggle over whether it was funny or not. Also we look at one of pips favourites , a British comedy classic called Hot Fuzz .
