Genesis 2:23-24 NL“At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’ ”  This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.

Have you ever said something you wished you could take back? What we say matters. Our words have the power to tear down or build up. They make a difference, so much that the Bible tells us that they either bring life or death. There is no in-between. It’s time to align the words we speak about ourselves, others, and our circumstances with God’s Word. Let’s take the lies captive and replace them with His truth!

Proverbs 1:1–7 NLT. These are the proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel. Their PURPOSE is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. Let those with understanding receive guidance by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles. Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but FOOLS despise wisdom and discipline.

Through His sacrifice, Jesus took the punishment that we deserved. He took our place so that we could be forgiven of all our sins. We couldn’t pay for it or earn it, so He came to be our righteousness. Jesus willingly laid down His life for ours, and we have now been restored to life and adopted into His family! Tune in as we celebrate what God did to make us holy and blameless in His sight.
