We live in a world that supremely values self-expression--I can do what I want with my body and I set the rules. We live in a world that has embraced moral relativism. Many object to Christianity by saying that it is an intolerant religion that suppresses my freedom of expression. Many people question the reality of evil and suffering in our world. On one hand, they argue that if God is good then He would lovingly want to stop all evil. Since evil exists, God must be immoral or not good. On the other hand, they argue that if God is sovereign He would powerfully stop all evil. Since evil exists, God must not be powerful enough. In an amazing twist of events, the Great I AM stands before the Israelites who have put Him on trial for not providing water in the desert. Moses strikes the rock with the rod of judgment and water gushes forth. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:4 that the Rock was Christ.
