Obedience is needed, not excuses. When we step into obedience, it’s the great I AM, the Holy Spirit, who is working through us. He is the one who is equipping us at that moment. He is the one giving power to our actions and the truth to our words. We are “Equipped, not Excused.”

Today, we are going to spend our time gazing in wonder at the I AM. Let's be a church that is in awe of who God really is, not what we feel like He should be.

You must decide. Each moment is a defining moment. You have to make a choice. Decide this day.

In our culture, faith is seen a crutch for the weak. But, this passage says faith belongs to the brave and daring, those who put it all on the line and take risks because you fight fear with faith.

Every moment has meaning because God is sovereign. He's the author and cause of all situations, even though we might not understand it. Nothing is arbitrary.

Missionaries are not just people who cross the pond. Missionaries are people who cross the line of faith. Membership is not about coming to church and receiving all the benefits. Membership is about joining God in His global mission to redeem the nations.

Transformation always involves the cross. And transformation makes the ordinary extraordinary.

Abraham’s faith was not rooted in himself but in the promise of God. This is why salvation can be guaranteed. It does not rest upon our merit. Our inability is made perfect in Christ crucified. When man is weak. When we deserve wrath, when sin grips... God is able.

Real faith results in a changed life, and if your faith doesn't result in works then it's not true faith.

Sole Fide means justification by faith alone.

Sin has affected every area of our being, our character, speech, actions, mind, reasoning, intellect and souls. Every person has the freedom to make choices and do what he pleases. Problem is, our choices are based on what we most deeply desire and, because of our sin nature, Jesus is never what we most deeply desire.

We’re not here because Jesus’ death was the end of a good story. We’re here because Jesus conquered death, hell, sin and grave. Heaven’s Hero Conquered Calvary and that changes everything.

It’s not about perfection; it’s about progression. Believers won’t be perfect. We’ll screw up. Our lives aren’t characterized by perfection but progress and growth. We continue to struggle with sin, but we grow in grace.

When you abandon God in your thinking; He abandons you to your thinking and corrupt thinking leads to corrupt desires/actions and Paul says God’s wrath is being poured out against those who reject God and do their own thing.
