The seventh commandment is probably the most maligned and resisted commandment in our culture. Sex is big business and pervades ever aspect of daily life. Most people think that God hates sex. Nothing could be further from the truth. God designed sex and gave it as a gift to humanity. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes takes us through God's design for great sex.

I has definitely been a year unlike any other. As difficult as 2020 has been, it would be easy to give in to the temptation to feel there is nothing to be thankful for. Psalm 107 reminds us of 7 things we can thank God for no matter what the circumstance.

In Romans 12, Paul shifts from the doctrine of God's grace in the first part of the book (chapters 1-11), to now focus on the duty to live in light of Grace in chapter 12. The Grace of God changes everything, not just our eternity, but our here and now!

What do I do when I don't know what God is doing? This is the struggle of the Christian life. We constantly live in the tension between faith and doubt. We trust Him for our forgiveness and for our eternity, but struggle for the daily things. We live with the question in the back of out heads, "Can I trust God?". Paul's Doxology in Romans 11 reminds us just how big and capable God is and that He can always be trusted.

Every good story has a good ending. The finale of the story of Jonah is open-ended which leaves us wondering, "Where's the rest?" The book ends with God asking a question of Jonah that each believer must internalize and answer for themselves. "Will you love others the way I love them? In this message, we examine how to avoid a self-centered faith.

In the game of golf, there's a wonderful gift of grace called the Mulligan. A Mulligan is a do-over -- a second chance when you blow a shot. In real life, it would be great to have a mulligan. Thanks to God he offers grace and many times He offers second chances. In Jonah 3, we see Jonah get a second chance to obey God. God also offers a second chance to Nineveh to turn to Him. God's grace never runs out... It is always running after us.

In Jonah 2, we see a desperate man call out to his only best option -- the option he tried his best to run away from in chapter 1. God is our only best option at all times. Thankfully, God's grace runs deep and reaches deep, like to the depths of the ocean and into the belly of a whale.
