The cross was an entrance into a life style that gave permission to live in a world that was not married to time. As long as you live in the shadow of the cross you should never get in a hurry. God sends you revival to get Him; not so you get revival. If you are not careful revival will become an idol. You must keep the cross at the center. Revival is supposed to push you into the greatest place of personal devotion that you have ever lived in. At the cross every ambition is crushed and every dream generated out of ego is shattered. At the cross the only thing left to remain is you wanting Him.

Everything that is supposed to flow out of the Christian experience has to chiefly come from the source of private personal devotion. God wants us to be shaking people that are chained. Do not settle for good church. Every chain was broken and cell door was opened because two men would not let their circumstances determine their level of devotion.

Damon Thompson Ministries - Prophetic Funneling Part 1: A funnel is broad at the top and narrows at the point of entrance. The Lord will initially give people a broad and generic calling and purpose for their life but after a period of time walking with Him, He crucifies inferior ambitions until He brings us down to the place where we begin to desire a point of entrance for Him and not a level of success for us. He funnels your assignment from something broad and generic to something targeted and specific. In the funnel there is spinning and often great pressure but stay in the funnel because God is narrowing you and shaping you into a vessel of honor.
