This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16,25). The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord(Luke 4:18,19). Jesus went forth in the power of the Holy Ghost; and it was a victorious period as the Spirit of God worked through Him to bring miracles, power and strength to all who would accept Him. Through the Holy Ghost, the Bride will have His same characteristics of love, devotion and dedication. Her veil of consecration will be just as great, holy and faithful as the veil of dedication was that Jesus wore.

The Lord said, Come now, and let us reason [not make excuses] together (Isaiah 1:18). You must learn to reason with God, and He knows whether or not you have a legitimate reason or just an excuse. The sad part is that most people have more scarecrows than reasons. od Wants Your Heart Not everyone who claims to be of God really is, and Jesus knew that. He said, Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 7:21). Are you a child of God in word only, or are you truly born again? If you are not ready to meet your Lord, you need to stop making excuses and get right with God today. Get Rid of the Old Me After Adam and Eve had disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, men and women were filled with sin and too much of me. That is why Jesus had to come to Earth and bring salvation to mankind through the divine blood. When people come to Jesus and receive a born-again experience, they are given a new “me”; and they become a brand-new person. Put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (II Corinthians 5:17).

Never allow unexpected situations to hinder your belief in what God has promised, and it won’t if you wait with your hope and trust in the Word. You must never lose faith in the Word or let anyone turn you away from the Gospel truth. The Bible says, Wait on thy God continually (Hosea 12:6). You must do that with patience, love, peace and grace; and you must understand what God’s will is for you. God’s Ways Are Greater

Romans 8:15a Freedom to live a holy and fruitful life But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Since Jesus Christ has set us free (“If the Son sets you free you will be free indeed” John 8:36), the Holy Spirit empowers us daily to walk in the freedom that God has provided through Christ. Freedom in Jesus Christ starts from salvation and extends into eternity. For “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17). God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. Romans 8:10

Freedom by the power of The Holy Spirit Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17 How can we live a victorious life and operate in the supernatural while living here on earth? The good news is that Jesus did not leave us as orphans. He sent us another Advocate just like himself to dwell in us and be with us (John 14:16, 1 Corinthians 6:19).

ROMANS 8: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ROMANS 8: here is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Psalm 34:8 Taste and See that the LORD is Good …7The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and he delivers them. 8Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! 9Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing.… God wants us to taste Him. He doesn’t want us just to know about Him in our mind; He wants us to taste His sweetness in our heart. Here are two verses showing that God’s people have tasted Him: • Psalms 119:103: “How sweet are Your words to my taste! Sweeter than honey to my mouth!”

"Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Gospel of Matthew 1:20-21 This took place in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" Gospel of John 1:28-29 Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ entered time and history through the Incarnation. "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14). Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God (Matthew 16:16), is a gift of love from the Father for the salvation of the world (John 3:16-17), the one who died for all of mankind, our "Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:20).

Being with someone we love requires us to be present not simply in body but in heart, and it’s the same with the Lord. We may carve out the time to spend with Him, but if our heart is somewhere else, it’s as if we’re not really with Him. Our heart can be turned away from Him to things such as our anxieties, worldly distractions, or even just the day to day matters of life So we need to build up a healthy habit of turning our heart to Him all the time, every day, even throughout the day. We can begin each morning when we wake up with a simple prayer: “Lord Jesus, this morning I turn my heart to You.” “Lord Jesus, I love You. I turn my heart to You again.” Romans 10:9-10: “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart there is believing unto righteousness, and with the mouth there is confession unto salvation.” According to these verses, believing is a matter of the heart. To believe, with our heart,

Proverbs 28:1 The Boldness of the Righteous 1The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. 2A land in rebellion has many rulers, but a man of understanding and knowledge maintains order.… 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. knowing who your are in christ gives you boldness.

- God is a warrior and He is mighty in battle. - Every warrior goes to battle with weapons of warfare trusted, effective and reliable. - No warrior goes to battle without a weapon to fight. He intends to fight battles through you. Consider David’s battle with Goliath. It was God Himself that fought with Goliath by making use of David as His battle axe. - A battle axe is a weapon in the hands of the warrior that can bring down the enemy. It has capacity to cut down, root up and break into pieces the strong holds of the enemy.

In reality, I am not a person with unequaled abilities. However, if I do have a quality that is a little outstanding, it is that I refuse to quit. This tenaciousness possibly came to me through my mother, who was a very strong person. When she went to do something, she wouldn’t quit until the work was done. Maybe it is like what the Apostle Paul said to Timothy--that the virtues Timothy received were from his grandmother and mother. Whatever the case, I simply know that built inside of me is a desire never to quit doing what God has me to do. The words of the Apostle Paul to Timothy in 2 Timothy 4:7-8 are very exciting and keep me moving on the inside. Written at the end of his life, when he was ready to go to heaven, he made a dramatic declaration.“I have fought agood fight.”From the time he was born again, until the time that Caesar Nero took off his head, Paul fought a good fight. He simply didn’t quit. I hope that everyone who reads this book will do the same--fight the Devil, fight sin, fight worl

How long does it take to become a Christian? Does it take years? Does it take months? Does it take days? Does it take hours? Actually, it can happen in an instant. Whatever sin you’ve committed, Jesus died for you on the cross and bore the judgment of God in your place. You can be forgiven of that sin right now. God promises you that. Some people live double lives. They think they have everything covered up, that no one knows. But God sees everything. He knows about everything we say and do. There are no secrets with God. Maybe you have a secret sin right now. God knows all about it. The Bible says that “if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness” (1 John 1:9 NLT).

Romans 6:1-6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Galatians 2:20, KJV: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:4-5) If we examine the picture Jesus is giving in this passage we see the Truth of the believer’s spiritual union with Christ. Just as the Vine and branches are as one – share the life of the Vine – so it is in Christ. “He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” (I Cor. 6:17) This is the core of Christianity: Christ in us, or if you prefer, the believer in Christ. We are baptized into Christ and forever at one with Him in spirit.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 The Greek word for faith means a firm persuasion, belief, believe, trust, trustworthiness, confidence, acceptance, fidelity and moral conviction. It means reliance upon Jesus Christ for salvation. Faith has to do with what you believe and also the strength of that belief. The word faith is also used to refer to your belief system. Simply put, faith means believing strongly in God and believing strongly that everything that He says is true. It means to be firmly persuaded. We must have faith in the grace and mercy of God. The only way we can obtain God’s grace and mercy is by faith – we cannot work for it. If you could earn God’s grace then you would not need faith in God. Our faith is essential – not only to ensure our salvation, but in order that we may receive the fulfillment of every promise of God that has been made to us.
