Desire is neither good nor bad, but desire is always sponsored by a good or bad source. When we have desires that are sponsored from a wrong source, we may be alive and filled with passion, but we are disconnected from the fire of purpose. Therefore, we must steward our desires well; and Holy Spirit helps us with this. Bible: Psalm 37:4; Proverbs 4:24; Proverbs 13:12

When we live in close relationship with Holy Spirit, He causes us to show up and emerge. We show up when we live authentically within the boundaries God has outlined for us. But, we emerge as we respond to His voice and hide His words in our hearts. Bible: Proverbs 29:17-19; 1 Thessalonians 5:19; 1 Samuel 15-17

As we learn to walk in the Spirit, we are learning to be sensitive so we don't grieve Him or quench His fire. We grieve the Holy Spirit when we sin by doing a wrong thing. Jesus told His disciples that He had to leave, so that "Holy Spirit" could come. Why, when things were going so well, did Jesus "need" to leave? So that every believer may experience what He experienced at His baptism. The validation and acceptance from a loving Father to His children...and that is who we are. Hearing is probably the most important thing in our relationship with God. Did you know that what we ponder about or store in our hearts can affect "how" we listen? We can actually "hear" with a bias; therefore, be careful "HOW" you listen. Bible: Luke 8:4-15

In a grace culture we celebrate every act of obedience. There are no big or small steps of obedience; every response to His voice is rewarded. This creates momentum! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. Old things have passed away and all things have become new." This means that as our heart and mind are renewed, so is our imagination. Our imagination includes our: meditations, reasoning, creative problem-solving, dreams, visions and desires. When God speaks, He is prophesying over us; sending His Word to our present, pregnant with grace; which empowers us to become who He sees us as in Christ. Bible: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
