When the duo of Art Kulik and Ashton Bingham created Trilogy Media, a YouTube channel featuring live skits to annoy and generally waste the time of incessant telemarketing calls they were being besieged with, they didn't realize that they were starting a social media juggernaut which also provided instruction to viewers seeking to avoid the scams. The team now makes live appearances across the country at such places like nursing homes where the most vulnerable victims of these scams reside so they can teach these audiences how to avoid falling into these traps. The 1970s were filled with social upheaval and racial tension in America. On many occasions, it boiled over into violence. New Haven, Connecticut was the scene of violent turmoil in the wake of the city's Urban Renewal Project, which displaced minority communities from neighborhoods they had lived in for generations. Author and producer Dion Baia grew up in New Haven and has written a book called Blood in the Streets, a fictional account of the violence and social unrest of that era. A writer for CNN has suggested that women should consider withholding sex from their partners to influence the men to vote for "women's equality". At this very moment, a group of about 3,000 people are marching to the United States where they are planning to request refugee status. This "March of the Migrant", as it’s being called, started in Honduras this past Saturday with about 1,300 people and the group seems to be growing as they get closer to the U.S. border.
