Richard and Linda are taking a break from their Top Ten Tip countdown to update you on some recent life events; first and foremost being the birth of a new grandchild. If you want to establish memories and connections with your children, a great way to do it is with family traditions. Long after they leave the nest, they will still remember the kinds of activities you did over and over and over again. Today Richard and Linda share some of their family traditions and why traditions are a top ten parenting idea.

Last week Richard and Linda embarked on listing their favorite parenting ideas they have implemented over the years. Today they share the Five Facet Review. It is a great reminder to be active in your children's lives and aware of how they are doing. You can better understand how they are doing when viewing it through five frames; physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.

The Eyres have been in the parenting business for some time now and they've learned a few things along the way. Distractions can get in the way of where we rank our family in our priorities, and the Eyres have some solutions to help reduce those; as well as giving encouragement to feel rewarded in your family duties.
