A lifelong Democrat, Rodolfo left the party after 2016, when it became clear that the Democratic Party is a party that is owned by the same corporations that own the Republican Party. It's time for new political parties in this country. Rodolfo supports the full repeal of the Patriot Act, which is actually an anti-Constitutional takeover of Americans' 4th Amendment rights. Marisol Rubio is a scientific researcher, health care provider and advocate for high-need students. She has a degree in neurobiology from UC Berkeley.A second-generation American, Marisol was raised by a single mother who was provided the opportunity to become a public school teacher and taught Marisol to always fight for a better future for her entire community. Marisol experienced the unimaginable when her infant daughter was diagnosed with brain cancer. If not for Marisol’s tireless advocacy on her daughter’s behalf against an unresponsive and dismissive health care system, her daughter would likely not have survived. There seems to be an inexplicable bias in the media when it comes to polling and Bernie Sanders. We have seen consistent headlines in which Bernie is ignored while candidate who poll lower are discussed. Recently the Public Opinion Research Lab at the University of Florida decided to just leave Sanders out altogether. What gives?
