Episodios

  • Episode 18: Troll 2

    06/09/2018 Duración: 01h41min

The documentary about this movie has a tittle that best describes the contents of Troll 2, documentary tittle - Best Worst Movie. Troll 2 may just be the best worst movie ever made. While far from being a good movie it's not the worst movie ever but out of the bad ones it may be the most fun.

  • Episode 17: Commando

    06/09/2018 Duración: 01h39min

Not even John Matrix could make a better movie, but maybe he could because maybe John Matrix can do all things. Could John Matrix tighten a pickle jar so tight that not even John Matrix could open it. Such question where not meant for man to answer.

  • Episode 16: Prometheus

    05/09/2018 Duración: 02h05min

The prequel to Alien. A visual masterpeace with a flawed plot. David and I disagree with the degree at witch we love and hate this movie.

  • Episode 15: Cruel Intentions

    30/08/2018 Duración: 01h40min

This is my wife's favorite movie, she must be a freak. This is one of those chick-flicks where the hot guy is trying to win a bet at the expense of the hot girl and the hot girl eventually convences him that he "can love" after all. The wife joins us in flaming this classic chick flick.

  • Episode 14: Crocodile Dundee

    30/08/2018 Duración: 01h42min

an eccentric crocodile poacher meets a New York City reporter and is a fish out of water in america.

  • Episode 12: The Exorcist

    28/08/2018 Duración: 02h04min

This is one of the legendary horrors from the time when horror was actually horrifying.

  • Episode 13: The Shining

    28/08/2018 Duración: 02h26min

Very, very different from the original Stephen King source matterial but is a whole new thing; a Stanley Kubrick masterpeace. As much as I love this movie it is strange that Halloran spends the subplot of the movie getting back to The Overlook hotel just to killed before he even walks inside.

  • Episode 11: Burn After Reading

    18/08/2018 Duración: 01h38min

The first time I saw this movie it was in the theater and I laughed myself under the seat in front of me. One of my all time favorite comedies. Check out our awesome comentary.

  • Episode 9: Stranger Than Fiction

    12/08/2018 Duración: 01h52min

(Stranger Than Fistion + David + Bo) x (microphone + beer) = Film Flams episode 9 I love it when a comedian can play a role like Harold Crick, A calculated straight lace IRS agent who falls in love with the free-spirited Ana Pascal. The character is verry different from Will Ferrell's usual roles of halarious outrageous SNL characters. This movie may be just a bit underrated in some circles but this Fillm Flam may be one of my favorites.

  • Episode 10: Let me in

    12/08/2018 Duración: 01h56min

Derived from the original Let The Right One In, Let Me In is a slow paced, mysterious, horror thriller. Enjoyed this movie and hopefully we had a good companion commentary.

  • Episode 8: Oblivion

    11/08/2018 Duración: 02h07min

Ever see any Sci-fi ever? There is probably some element of whatever movie you just thought of in this one. Oblivion could be criticised for having story elements and concepts from many sci-fi classics; 2001, Moon, Ex-Machina. But somehow the movie seems do pull this together respectfully. This film flams episode turned me around on this movie. While performing the commentary I decided that I actually liked this love letter to sci-fi.

  • Episode 7: Casino Royale

    08/08/2018 Duración: 02h12min

Secret Agent James Bond is sent on his first mission as 007 to confront a terrorist at Casino Royale, Montenegro.

  • Episode 6: Source Code

    05/08/2018 Duración: 01h38min

I like to think of this movie as Duncan Jones first Warcraft script. Ok so I don't know to fit that in my fan theory but this is a great Duncan Jones film. David and I go through some real fan theories and possibilties of this plot and it's meaning. Duncan Jones may be great at creating cerebral small set films but Dave and Bo are definitely great at talking over them.

  • Episode 5: Chasing Amy

    04/08/2018 Duración: 02h09s

As a huge Kevin Smith fan I have to say, Chasing Amy is my favorite of his movies. The tangled triangle between these three characters is intriguing, real, and raw. The movie explores relationships and how sometimes people let something in a partners past get in the way of true love. Jay and Bob are in the movie for about 3 seconds but deliver the most important scene of the movie. Listen to David and myself Kev fan out on this awesome Film Flam!

  • Episode 4: Kick-ass

    02/08/2018 Duración: 02h47s

David and Bo podcast while watching Dave Lizewski get the shit kicked out of him in this vigilante, underdog superhero deconstruction.

  • Episode 3: Inception

    02/08/2018 Duración: 02h30min

Probably based on a Scrouge McDuck comic, Inceptions is an amazing thriller that came out at time when the only thing in theaters was remakes. Not to mention it was written by Christopher Nolan and stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

  • Episode 2: Superman: The Movie

    25/07/2018 Duración: 02h27min

1978 Superman: The Movie is the OG superhero flick. Before Jason Mamoa or Robert Downey Jr there was Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder in the movie about the man of steel himself.

  • Episode 1: Being John Malkavich

    06/07/2018 Duración: 01h54min

David and Bo commentary one of the crew's favorite movies of all time. Written by Charlie Kaufman and directed by Spike Jonze along side a fantastic cast; John Cusack, Cameron Diaz, Catherine Keener and of course John Malkavich.
