Episode 16 - Better Angels
10/02/2016 Duración: 45minWe're back with a podcast on episode 3 of Agent Carter's second season, "Better Angels." In this episode, Peggy and company begin to deal with the fallout of the season premiere's explosive cliffhanger. Many significant glances are exchanged. We have Peggy and Jason's amorous glances, of course, but also Peggy and Whitney's appraising glances, as the two women driving the season's plot meet face-to-face for the first time. To defeat this season's villains, the Arena Club, Peggy will have to do more than just thwart the power plays of some rich old white men. She'll also have to understand Whitney Frost, the genius hidden so well in their midst that even the Arena Club doesn't see her. And how could they, really?

Episode 15 - Season 2 Premiere
10/02/2016 Duración: 52minWe cover the two-part season premiere of Agent Carter, "The Lady in the Lake" and "A View in the Dark," in which Peggy goes to L.A. and gets caught up in a murder mystery that seems straight out of a 1940s film noir--and then that's where it really gets interesting.

Episode 13 - Ant-Man
07/08/2015 Duración: 01h18minAgent Carter Declassified is back! Even better: Agent Carter is back! Or will be next January! Alex and I discuss all the Agent Carter news since the show was renewed, from the show's upcoming L.A. location, to Hayley Atwell's recent comments about diversity, to Dub Smash! Then we use Peggy's cameo in Ant-Man to segue into a discussion about that movie, particularly its treatment of Janet van Dyne and Hope van Dyne. Our discussion lasted more about an hour, but in an ant-sized nutshell: Marvel knows that a lot of people want more lady superheroes. The Ant-Man movie makes that clear. But Marvel still doesn't think that's a good enough reason to make a lady-led superhero film. The Ant-Man movie makes that clear as well. What did you think of Ant-Man? Let us know in the comments below!

Episode 4 - Bridge and Tunnel
08/02/2015 Duración: 54minThings really heat up in episode 2 of Marvel's Agent Carter as she's forced to take on Captain America's mantle in a purely symbolic way while suffering Jarvis's fussiness, and dodging the affections of Angie Martinelli and the suspicions of the SSR. It's all just another day in Peggy Carter's world. Meanwhile back here at FemPop HQ Jill Scharr and I are hard at work figuring out if Peggy really does fight a guy on top of a moving car while wearing heels, a long skirt and a bullet in the thigh. Peggy Carter is there anything you can't do? Well, I guess bring back your one true love--Captain America. But let's stop pretending we're radio announcers in a 1946 radio drama and get down to brass tacks. In this episode we dive deep to talk about whether or not Peggy's technically a super hero and then we get distracted a few times gabbing about Angie's huge and adorable crush on Peggy. It's a blast.
