Psalm 122:1-9 1 I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.” 2 Our feet are standing in your gates, Jerusalem. 3 Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together. 4 That is where the tribes go up— the tribes of the Lord— to praise the name of the Lord according to the statute given to Israel. 5 There stand the thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David. 6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. 7 May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels. 8 For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” 9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.  

Psalm 25:1-7 1 In you, Lord my God,     I put my trust. 2 I trust in you;     do not let me be put to shame,     nor let my enemies triumph over me. 3 No one who hopes in you     will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those     who are treacherous without cause. 4 Show me your ways, Lord,     teach me your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth and teach me,     for you are God my Savior,     and my hope is in you all day long. 6 Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,     for they are from of old. 7 Do not remember the sins of my youth     and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me,     for you, Lord, are good.

How long will you love delusions and seek false gods  3 Know that the LORD has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the LORD hears when I call to him.  4 Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.  5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the LORD.  6 Many, LORD, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of your face shine on us.  7 Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound.  8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.
