Pastor Mike speaks about the act of "Submitting" as the first step in allowing God to chisel us into the Masterpiece He sees us. What does it mean to submit? When does it begin? What does it look like? These are the three major areas we speak about today. Our relationship with God exists as we humble and submit to Christ.. Our relationship grows and matures as we continue to humble ourselves thru continual repentance and submission... As we do this we put ourselves in a position to receive from God all that He has in store...

Pastor Mike uses a little different approach to teaching this morning by repeating a video that he used last week by the "Skit Guys" titled "God's Chisel" and adding in comments along the way to help us understand the process God uses to make us more Christ-like. It's vitally important for us to become more like Christ as we walk in faith and work out our own personal salvation. We must understand that God loves us and He has great things in store for us as we cooperate with Him in living a life for Him. However, there is much work to be done in the process. The question is are we willing to listen and then work?

How does God see you? How do you see yourself? Are you the Masterpiece God sees you as? If not you need to listen to this message and be encouraged. God sees us differently then we see ourselves most of the time. He can see through the sin and the junk in our lives and sees the potential He created us to be. The question is are we willing to accept Jesus and then allow God through the power of the Holy Spirit to "chisel" us to be the Masterpiece that He original created us to be?

Pastor Mike speaks today about the power of your testimony to overcome the enemy in your life. This is a powerful and necessary element of our salvation to declare to the world our testimony of the power of Jesus blood and the Holy Spirit in our lives. Don't be shy in sharing your life's story and declare who you are in Christ. You are an overcomer and the devil needs to know that you know that and are defeating him by the power of your words. We are more the victorious by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony!

Guest speaker, Pastor Scott Donald talks to us this morning about the Jesus who is still in the miracle business. In order for Jesus to have the freedom to heal us in all of our infirmities, we need to press into and apply our faith. How desperate are we? Who do we call on first, worldly counsel and solutions to our needs or do we go to Jesus as our first option? Pastor Scott gives us good encouragement to seek Jesus first...

Pastor Mike continues looking at the life of Moses and Joshua as they were both were involved with leading the Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land and how important it was for them to purposefully and intentionally establish a "tent of meeting" with God. In this time, what were they pursuing, having the "Blessing" of God or seeking to remain in the "Presence" of God? What's more important, "blessing" or "presence"? What are we seeking? DO you know?

We are studying the Priority of Prayer by looking at the life of Moses and what his life teaches us on his commitment to spending time with God. Moses was purposeful, intentional and deliberate in his "alone time" with God. He understood the significance of developing a personal relationship with God. We can learn so much as we study this and apply the same basic prayer principles.

Pastor Mike welcomes the new year by discussing the Heart of what Center Point Assembly is about beginning with the heart of a Pastor. And then focusing on what it means to be the "church" as defined by Christ to be the "body of believers" or the "Body of Christ". Good questions are brought up about what it means to be committed to the body and what that looks like. Did Jesus think the church was important? Listen in to find out and then ask yourself the questions raised...

The Christmas season always focuses on giving gifts... Have you ever thought about the gift that you would give Jesus if He was at your house on Christmas morning? What do you think He would want from you? Pastor Mike talks about the two most important things that Jesus desires from you and I this Christmas season and thereafter. They are: 1. A personal relationship with Him and 2. That there would be love in His family. God loved us enough to send Jesus His Son to give us the opportunity to have relationship with Him and as an example of how to love people... Listen in and be challenged and encouraged to examine your life to see if you are indeed giving Jesus the gifts that He truly desires...

Coming into the Christmas season Pastor Mike talks about what the true cost of Christmas is. We've been speaking on "believing" like Abraham that leads to righteousness, and now we understand that there's also a "cost" associated with believing. Heaven understood the cost of Christmas as all the angels witnessed Jesus trade his Heavenly palace for an earthly tent. Clearly there was a great cost to Jesus and to heaven. The question is, do we appreciate it? And then secondly do we understand and appreciate the cost that we have to take up our cross daily as Jesus said we would have to? Pastor Mike continues in the theme of Spiritual Hunger this morning by discussing what it really means to "Believe" what God's Word says. Is it really that easy just to believe? Scripture says that Abraham believed God and it was credited as righteousness, in another passage it says the even the demons believe and they shudder. Is there a different kind of believing going on here? Listen in and ask God to show you this morning how you believe. Are you believing as Abraham did or are you believing as the demons did? Very important to know the difference if you're concerned about your eternity...

We continue the journey of Spiritual Hunger. Pastor Mike continues to ask the question this morning, "Are you hungry for all that God has for you"? There's a day coming when every person will have a "final exam" administered by God, without exception. We're given good information as to what will be on the exam and to what standards we will be tested. The question is, unless we know what God's standards are, how do we know if we're living up to them? That's what we're talking about, getting into the Word of God, so that we can be sure come exam day that we're prepared. God loves us so much that He gave His son to become the Word and to make it flesh so that we can have an example to go along with His written word. We need to pick it up, read it, study it, meditate upon it and by the power of the Holy Spirit to live it now so that come exam day, we're sure to pass...

It appears God is leading us on a small series of asking the question of His people, "Are We Hungry?". This week we're discussing what it means to seek after God and everything He has for a truly hungry person. How do we control our attitude and create a spiritual hunger in our soul even when we don't feel hungry? Is it important that we do this or not? What does God's Word say about seeking after Him and His righteousness? Do you know? Do you care? Listen in and ask yourself the very important question, "Am I Hungry?"

Pastor Mike brings a question that is appropriate with the Holiday season ahead, talking about our appetite for food, are we hungry? This has much spiritual correlation in regards to our spiritual appetite, are we hungry for the things of God? How does one measure their appetite? Does our natural flesh man get hungry for spiritual food as it naturally does for a turkey on Thanksgiving? The answer is pretty obvious that it doesn't, therefore how do we prepare and protect a spiritual appetite when its not a natural one? We will see that it takes an intentional attitude and commitment to honor God and practice being in His presence and in His Word to keep the "junk food" of the world out. Listen in as we discuss that and prepare to be satisfied... A hungry person is easily satisfied...

Pastor Mike wraps up the series by presenting a solid scriptural basis as "compelling evidence" that the Baptism of the Holy SPirit is a valid experience. That He was prophetically foretold and was poured out on the early Church as a "gift" of God. That Jesus taught his followers the importance of receiving all that God His Father would give them in the form of the Holy Spirit. They received the gifts with ease. And today, scripture tells us these same gifts are available and we are encouraged to receive and apply them just as the early church did. It is the prayer of this pastor that all would read God's Word and ask Jesus to give them all the "good gifts" to them as they allow the Holy Spirit complete access to their hearts. This week we have guest speaker Ted Brancheau, author of "Your Ministry Matters" and he challenges the church in a life of living for Jesus like one really meant it. In these days of easy "believe-ism" and deception, here is a challenging word to know your place in the body and how you fit in...

Pastor Mike is coming closer to finishing the series on The Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This week we discuss the 9 gifts of the spirit and give a general overview of what they are and how they are used. This is not an in depth study as the gifts are all very involved and worthy of much more time. What we do know about them is that God would have everyone desire them and humbly ask for the best that God has for us. With that said, it is the prayer of this pastor that all would however seek the giver of the gifts more then the gifts. If we all were intent on that, then God would be able to freely pour out Hid good and excellent gifts on us all as we glorify Jesus through their use. Commit this week to seek the giver...

Pastor Mike speaks on the purpose of speaking in tongues as a vital emphasis in the life of the Holy Spirit filled believer. Tongues are not only the initial evidence that a person has been Baptized in the Holy Spirit, but a powerful public and private prayer language. This message discusses the difference between the public and private use of tongues and encourages all to seek God, the giver of the gifts, for the edification or the building up of both the church and the person. Our encouragement is for all believers to seek all that God or Father has for us to be victorious in this end times of which we are living...

Pastor Mike continues the series on The Holy Spirit this week and leads us into the area of seeking all the Holy Spirit has for the believer. Once we're saved, are we consciously or sub-consciously telling God that we can live life on our own or are we seeking all that He has for us? This may seem like an obvious question that of course we want more, yet it appears that many are in a superficial relationship with God and are telling Him they're comfortable where they're at in this relationship and really don't want to go any further into the Spiritual realm. Does this describe your life or a time what maybe you felt that way? Then listen in and see if God has more in store for all of His children and then ask yourself the tough questions that only you can of you life... Am I all in for Christ? Am I giving Him the best of me and continually ask for more of Him?
