The Danger in Looking Back - Audio
03/05/2021 Duración: 55minSunday, May 2, 2021 – Pastor of Prayer, Ryp Hankins brings a message he titled “The Danger in Looking Back”. In this very relevant message, Pastor Ryp instructs us to leave the past in the past for good reason. What God forgives, He forgets, and He would have us learn and then forget as well. so that the enemy doesn’t pull us back in the pit that we were trapped in. He makes a very interesting point, God is not in our past, but the devil, the accuser of the brethren is. For us to be set free from his evil influence we need to stay away from where he’s at., so stay out of his territory. God is in our present and in our future so keep your eyes focused on Christ and stop looking back. Be blessed as you listen in...

Jude - Contending for the Faith - Audio
25/04/2021 Duración: 01h11minSunday, April 25, 2021. We are in our 3rd week of the study on Jude and we are titling this message "Contending for the Faith". Contending for something isn't in God's original plan for mankind, have you ever thought about that? When God created everything 6000+ years ago, He reviewed everything and He said that it was very good. Very Good by God's standard is "perfection". Perfection means that God and everything He created was at PEACE, meaning there was no contention and thus contending wasn't in the vocabulary. Then sin came and all PEACE was broken, and thus contention enters the scene and that's where we are today. So today, Jude says we are to "contend for the faith" - meaning we are to stand up for it and against everything that is against it. This is a great message that needs to be shared and understood, so I pray that the Holy Spirit brings it alive as you worship with us. Be Blessed...

Jude - Peace in Abundance - Audio
18/04/2021 Duración: 49minSunday, April 18, 2021 - Jude - "Peace in Abundance". We are in our second week of this study and still introducing the letter of Jude. To begin, let me make this statement, “Peace in the middle of the storm is possible only if one has a relationship with, HE who is greater than the storm”. This will become evident as we move thru the message today. We are living in a world that is upside down and peace is nowhere to be found. Yet, people the world over are searching for peace. Jude is saying that "Mercy, Peace, and Love can be yours in abundance". Are you interested in what he's talking about and where they may all be found? The answer is obviously not found in the world, even though it may claim to offer them. We will find out in this message that all three are only available thru a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Are you still interested? I hope so.... Be Blessed as you worship with us...

Introduction to our Study of Jude - Audio
11/04/2021 Duración: 44minSunday, April 11, 2021 - "Introduction on the Study of Jude". This is the first day of our study on this short yet very powerful book of Jude. We will find today that Jude introduced himself as a "servant of Christ Jesus" and a "brother of James". We also will discover that Jude, like James, was the 1/2 brother of Jesus. Why then wouldn't Jude say that? We're going to dig into this interesting question and also learn what it means to be a "slave of Jesus". Another term for slave is "bond-servant" and this will describe the power of choice that proves love for Christ. Other writers in the New Testament also describe themselves as Bond-servants to Jesus, and they serve as great examples of the commitment we need to have to Christ. It's our proof statements to Him... Be blessed as you worship with us...

Easter - He Rose and Is Alive Forevermore - Audio
04/04/2021 Duración: 01h09minEaster Sunday - April 4, 2021 - A day of great celebration for us. What we're going to discover today is that for those that witnessed this event, it didn't seem good for them. It was a disaster and a great travesty to see Jesus hanging on a cross and then laid in a tomb. Even as Jesus tried multiple times to tell them this was all going to happen and he would rise from that tomb and conquer death, they still didn't get it. We shouldn't blame them, it was such a horrific event. In fact, it should cause us to evaluate our lives to see if we're any different in our potential misunderstanding of what this day really stands for. What have we done with Jesus and the Easter message? Think about it... However, the Easter message is good news. Jesus accomplished many things that day for us. We're going to be talking about those in today's message. I pray that you receive Him and celebrate the truth that He rose and is alive forevermore... Be blessed

Palm Sunday - Who Was In The Crowd? - Audio
28/03/2021 Duración: 01h15minPalm Sunday - The day people celebrated Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem beginning the Passover week. This was an important week in the annual Jewish tradition, but this year was different because Jesus was there. What we're going to discover today is that just because Jesus was being heralded as the coming King of the Jews many didn't really have clue to what that was going to mean for them. We're going to look at who was in the crowd that day. There were many different types of people there. Maybe we will see ourselves in one of them... Be blessed as you listen and prepare your heart for the coming resurrection...

2nd Peter - Looking Forward & Living Like It - Audio
21/03/2021 Duración: 01h05minSunday, March 21, 2021 - This is the last message in our study on 2nd Peter. I really enjoyed this study and hope that if you've been following you have as well. I've titled this message, "Looking Forward and Living Like It". Peter ends this 2nd letter by sharing with his readers some very important information on how the world will end and then more encouragingly how eternity will entail the "New Heavens and the New Earth" that God will replace the old ones with that are burned up and purged. With that as context, he then asks the most important question - How then shall you live? What an important question! Given that everything we can see and sense with our physical senses will be burned and laid bare, how then shall we live life? Peter, then goes ahead and tells us that we should live holy and godly lives and further that we should live spotless and blameless lives at peace with God. Pray that you're encouraged and challenged as you take the time to worship with us and watch the message... Be Ble

Time to Double Down - Audio
14/03/2021 Duración: 57minSunday, March 14, 2021 - The title of today's message is "Time to Double Down". We are diverting for the day from our study on 2 Peter because today at the end of our service we are having our annual business meeting and this message is what the Lord would have us speak about as we are preparing for that meeting. As a church, these kinds of meetings are always good opportunities to evaluate where we've been, where we're going, and who and what we are in the moment. Looking around, it's easy to see the many challenging things that are against us as a church, both in the church and in the environment we're living in. I think you all probably know exactly what I'm talking about. So as I was praying about this, two words came to my mind, and I believe they were from the Holy Spirit - "Double Down"... This is the time to "Double Down" on everything that is in God's Word for Christians to hold on to today. It's not the time to grow weary or question one's faith and give up!! There is too much to talk about h

2 Peter - The Age of the Antichrist - Audio
07/03/2021 Duración: 01h02minSunday, March 7, 2021 - As we are continuing in the study of 2 Peter, he mentions that "the day of the Lord will come like a thief" in verse 10 of Chapter 3. We talked about this last week as well, but today I want to talk specifically about the "age of the Antichrist" and what that implies about the days we're currently living. I believe that with everything that is happening all around us, we can see that the "spirit of the antichrist" is very active. In fact it's been active beginning in the early church years and only increasing as we're nearing the Rapture or taking away of the Church. This will be the last thing that must happen before the "person of the antichrist" will be revealed. It's when the restraining power of the Holy Spirit is removed from the world will the real evil of the antichrist begins to be unleashed on this world. Even though this may not be a fun topic to talk about it is absolutely necessary so that we're not easily deceived by all the current events as we're winding our time

2 Peter - Rapture & 2nd Coming - Audio
28/02/2021 Duración: 53minSunday, February 28, 2021 - We are continuing in our study of 2 Peter. As we begin in chapter 3, verse 10, Peter refers to the "The day of the Lord" and that it will come as a thief. This raises a very good and important question - what is "the day of the Lord"? If we don't understand what that is referring to, then we will miss the point of the rest of this chapter. So today, we are spending the time we have discussing the context of this passage and going into detail on the time periods and the major events seperating them. The time periods are: The "End Days", and "The Day of the Lord" and the major events are the "Rapture" and the "2nd Coming". These are very different time periods ending with two very different events. This is a very important teaching given the day's we are living. It is my sincere belief that we are living in the end of the "End Days". So what does that mean? Are we ready for what's ahead? Use the time we have wisely... Be blessed...

2 Peter - Where Is His Coming? - Audio
21/02/2021 Duración: 46minSunday, February 21, 2021 - We are back into our study of 2 Peter and just beginning chapter 3. A title for this message would be either "Where Is His Coming?" or "Benefits of Wholesome Thinking" as Peter deals with both of these very important issues. He strongly encourages the readers of his day, and also of this day, to stimulate oneself to wholesome thinking. Wholesome thinking will keep us on the right path of Godliness as we're looking and waiting for the soon return of Jesus to catch His bride away. But there were those then and there are those today, within the church that are asking the question - Where is this coming? We've been hearing about this forever and nothing has changed... Peter gives us the way to answer this by going directly to the Word of God as the source for this and all answers. Don't get caught up in foolish opinions and arguments, let God's Word defend itself because it is very qualified to do so. Listen and study along with us as we fill our minds with wholesome thoughts.

Church - What is its Value? - Audio
14/02/2021 Duración: 46minThe Church that Jesus began so many years ago is still alive and well today. He said it would be so, and He said the gates of Hell will prevail against it. But in today's world, many are not seeing the values of the Church as maybe their forefathers did. Why is that? What is the value of church and why is it so important? We discuss this question today and I pray that it creates in your spirit a desire to be more of the church than maybe you were before.

2 Peter - The Threat of Apostasy - Audio
25/01/2021 Duración: 52minSunday, January 24, 2021. Continuing in our study of 2 Peter we are talking about the very real "Threat of Apostasy". These are some of the harder truths of God's Word that are not so much fun to deal with, yet are so important to our faith. What makes mankind so unique is that we are created in the image of God and that means we have the power of choice. The choice to choose right from wrong, good from bad, righteousness from unrighteousness. Even after we accept Christ as our savior and have a personal relationship with Him, we always have the right to choose to walk away from that relationship, as foolish as that would be. That's what we're talking about today. The necessity to guard our spiritual life and tend it like something extremely valuable. I know some will differ with me on this, but I ask you to listen in and read the scripture and then wholly submit to God. If that's your life's aim, then the threat of apostasy vanishes...

2 Peter - Freedom in Submission - Audio
17/01/2021 Duración: 46minWe are continuing after a few weeks of Holiday and New Year break in our study of 2 Peter. We are in the 2nd chapter of 2 Peter where Peter is now dealing severely with the false teachers and false prophets that are infiltrating the early church. We can only imagine, if they were making an impact then, how much more they are today. So, it's a very relevant study. You can read for yourself in this chapter how God feels about those that speak lies in His Name and how He will deal with them. What I am focusing on is the Freedom they promise, but are unable to give because they themselves are slaves to sin. One cannot give what they don't possess. The only freedom giver is Christ because He is free and He is able to give of what He has. So the title of this message is true - there is "freedom in Submission"... Be blessed as you listen in.

The Benefits of Fearing God - Audio
11/01/2021 Duración: 01h04minSunday, January 10, 2021 - Guest Pastor Ryp Hankins gives a great message on "The Benefits of Fearing God". This is an especially timely message given the craziness of the world today. As Pastor Ryp makes perfectly clear there are consequences of not fearing God and great benefits otherwise. The fear we're speaking of is not the trembling kind that the enemy has of God, but rather the awe-inspiring kind that comes with great respect for who God is what He is capable of. Along with that is the fear of a man's reputation. So the questions everyone must come to grips with are: Do you have a deep reverential fear of God that causes you to do the things that please God? Or do you have a fear of your reputation among men that would cause you to fear man more than fearing God? These are both very important markers of one's character. Listen in and self-evaluate. Our prayer is that you fear God more than anything else in this life, including man... Be blessed...

Thirsting for the Right Things in 2021 - Audio
03/01/2021 Duración: 56minThis is the first Sunday in the year 2021 - how quickly time is slipping by. Today we are focusing on the need to maintain a thirst and hunger for the things of God more in the days we're living in than ever before. The apostle Paul tells us how we are to do this by forgetting what is behind and pressing on toward the prize of what God has in store for us heavenward. The natural law of God is that everything that is living grows. Thirst and hunger are a sure sign that we are still alive and growing. But growth isn't always healthy, it must be nurtured and directed. The question we discuss today is, how often do we think about our spiritual growth? Do we prioritize it? Do we nurture it? There are many things in this life that would choke it out if we're not careful to guard and maintain our thirst and hunger for Godliness. That's the way we need to begin 2021. Join us as we intentionally pursue a life of continued thirsting after the righteousness of God...

2 Peter - Relentless Deception - Audio
13/12/2020 Duración: 46minSunday, December 13, 2020. Continuing on in our study on 2 Peter we are titling the message "Relentless Deception". I'm asking those studying along with us to read the entire 2nd chapter and see how directly Peter deals with the false teachers and prophets of his day. Notice also the punishment that is in store for them from God. We must understand how God detests those that falsely speak for Him and in so doing lead so many astray. In our message today we are emphasizing the urgency of truth in today's "end time's" world day as un-truth is so prevalent all around us. Deception of all kinds is the enemy's number one strategy to destroy us. He doesn't care how he traps us through his lies and deceit as long as he does. However, we also find that God is able to save those who are dedicated to Him from the deceiver even in the darkest hour of evil. God knows who we are, and He will protect us as we trust in Him... Be Blessed as y
