On the show we will talk about the Sport of Kings. We will delve into the different features of the WinningPonies.com website. John Engelhardt will talk about the issues of the day that affect horse racing, such as synthetic surfaces, medication rule changes, the fate of the industry as a whole, VLTs and Casinos, and human interest stories of triumph and defeat. You will also hear our spot play of the week, where John will handicap the feature races for the upcoming weekend, and will give out his best plays. We will keep you abreast racings big events. Featured on the show will be guests (trainers, jockeys, jockeys agents, owners, and celebrity handicappers). Promotional giveaways will be featured, such as brand merchandise and free WinningCredits.Winning Ponies is broadcast live every Thursday at 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific on the VoiceAmerica Variety Channel.

The school's staff members are practicing professional farriers and honor graduates of KHS, trained to instruct students in basic farrier techniques and to ensure continuity within the KHS curriculum. During their tenure, students will master the fundamentals of farrier craftsmanship. They will learn how to trim a horse for proper balance and how to recognize and treat common types of lameness and gait problems. Chris is a wealth of knowledge of the sport on so many levels and his enthusiasm is infectious. It is her second time receiving the award. For the last 29 years Jennie Rees has been associated with the Louisville Courrier-Journal as a turf writer. She was a member and former president of the National Turf Writers Association. Rees has been in The Courier-Journal sports department since 1981, covering horse racing since 1983. She is a three-time individual winner of racing’s Eclipse Award for outstanding writing — in 1988 for magazine writing, 1993 for newspaper writing and 2011 for news/enterprise.
