Last week I talked about the September 6, 2022 the Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued a report entitled, DHS Encountered Obstacles to Screen, Vet, and Inspect All Evacuees during the Recent Afghanistan Crisis. This evening we need to continue to explore the many ways that our immigration system is failing to protect America and Americans.  This failure is certainly not new- but under the Biden Administration immigration policies our borders have been all but erased and immigration law enforcement has been essentially gutted. This Sunday, September 11, 2022 will mark the 21st anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.  Consider that there is an entire generation of young Americans who were born after the attacks and, for them, it is a date in history but not a date that they lived through. Tonight I want to focus solely on those attacks, subsequent terror attacks committed in the United States and the dangers that we face today, especially because of policies of the Biden Administration. Earlier this week the Biden Administration reported that it had killed the leader of al-Qaeda and the mastermind of the terror attacks of 9/11 and other deadly attacks around the world that targets American targets. On August 2, 2022 BBC reported: Ayman al-Zawahiri: US warns of possible retaliation over al-Qaeda death As a consequent administration officials warn that Americans around the world must be “vigilant” in the event of a retaliatory attack by al-Qaeda operatives and others. For all of the justifiable concerns about the crisis on the southern border, for the most part, the rest of the immigration system that has been overwhelmed and neutured by the Biden Administration has been ignored by the media.  The immigration crisis on the southern border extends clear across the entire United States. On July 8, 2022 ICE issued a press release:  ICE removes noncitizen associated with terrorists This “non-citizen” aka “Alien” had become a naturalized US citizen by committing fraud.  He was stripped of his citizenship when his fraud was discovered.  The news release noted that his son, Najibullah Zazi, is a member of al-Qa’ida and was convicted of conspiring to bomb the New York subway in 2009. Happy Friday! On July 6, 2022 The Washington Times reported, DHS erases barrier to legal status for some illegal immigrants.  On the very same day, CBS News reported:  Tip from "hero citizen" thwarted July 4 mass shooting in Virginia's capital, police say.  Fox News reported:  Potential Richmond July 4 mass shooters charged as noncitizens in possession of firearm, police say- One of the suspects in thwarted Richmond mass shooting had previously been deported. We will consider the nexus between these two reports and the implications of the DHS policy change. Wade and the Second Amendment, striking down New York State’s restrictive gun laws, while the Senate has passed newgun legislation purportedly to address numerous mass shootings and numerous gun-related crimes. In the wake of mass shootings politicians around the United States, particularly Democrats,, have called for new and more restrictive gun laws.  What is ignored however, is that anti-police policies have encouraged more violent crimes that use guns and other means to harm and kill people. Law-abiding people will generally abide by the laws, whether they like them or not- criminals, however, ignore laws.  Without effective law enforcement criminals are encouraged to commit more crimes and hence injure and kill even more innocent victims. Hi Gang: Last week I discussed my recent article, Title 42 and Chaos on the Border: Mayorkas is not America’s guardian but its innkeeper. A federal judge blocked the Biden administration from going forward with its plan to terminate title 42 even though the COVID pandemic continues.  Indeed, you may be surprised to know that it has been reported, that:  FLETC shutdown, rising cases show pandemic isn't over.  (FLETC  is the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. But first we will consider the horrific mass murder of 19 children and two teachers at a public school in Uvalde, Texas by an 18 year old.  This incompehensibel attack has, not surpsingly, been seized by politicians to advance their agendss- let's consider what is not being didcussed and what ations should be taken to leanrs from ever so many similar incidents.
