Global News: Calgary police investigate, recommend provincial review of domestic homicide This after a mother and wife was murdered near a Calgary elementary school. Her husband was found dead nearby. Police had been to the family residence several times and had had repeatedly charged the husband who was then released by the courts on a 'no contact' order. Criminal law professor Doug King says "a restraint order, a no-contact order was placed on him. He violated it twice. And each time he had violated it, he would have been before a judge again to look at his release. German farmers this past week-plus, in protest against their federal government's decision to slash a farmers diesel subsidy, amid other complaints against the national Berlin government, shut down many parts of Germany, including Berlin with a massive protest using farm tractors to block roads and highways.
