Pastor Mike takes a break from the series on Jesus Letters to the Seven Churches to share his heart for the church. This is a message from the heart as to the strengths of this body and a look toward the future of where we are going and how can we get there.

Pastor Mike is continuing the study of Jesus's letters to the 7 churches. This week we speak about the church in Pergamos or Pergamum. Jesus sees that they do not renounce God even while living in the place where Satan lives, and yet there is a form of false teaching that is becoming prominent in their midst. This false teaching is in the form of a "stumbling block" as in the way of Balaam. As we study this message and understand the danger of being a stumbling block we will see how this is applicable for us today. Pastor Mike continues in the series of the Letters from Jesus to the Seven Churches in Asia Minor. These letters were given to the Apostle John while he was imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos around 95 AD. This church is undergoing great persecution and is found pleasing to Jesus as a result of their faithfulness. We see in our discussion that they had a very simple choice to make that involved just a little compromise in their belief system and they would have avoided much persecution and trial, BUT they chose to hold fast to their Holy conviction that Jesus alone was worthy to be called Lord, not Caesar, and as a result they suffered great persecution. As a result, they were given the title of "Fragrant when Crushed". Jesus had no rebuke for this church only encouragement that they will receive the crown of life as they continue to persevere... Great lesson for us today... AMEN

Pastor Mike continues the series on the first 2 chapters of Revelation. This week is the first of the Seven Letters to Seven Churches. The church in Ephesus is a strong church with many good works. Jesus applauds many things about them and yet he has some warnings for them. The benefit of this letter and it's contents reaches into the hearts of people and churches today. We will be wise to listen to the counsel of Jesus and make application in our hearts as we also can learn as they were instructed. Listen in and allow the Holy Spirit to do His work in your life...

Former Pastor Ryp Hankins shares a message today on the "Centrality of Worship". He makes mention and teaches that the overall theme of Scripture is to Worship Jesus above all things. As the Holy Spirit brings signs & wonders to bear, they immediately draw ones attention to Jesus and their need for Him. Listen and be encouraged as we're taught what it means to worship Jesus with everything in us!

Pastor Mike honors fathers today on Father's Day. The challenge for all men that aspire to be fathers is what is the "Legacy" they leave behind. There are many things in life that cannot be controlled, and being remembered after death is one of them - however, the man can influence HOW he's remembered. Is it good enough to be remembered just as a "good man" or is there more to it? What's the difference of being a "good" man and a "Godly" man? One leads to eternal life and one doesn't... Dad's where are you leading your children? Do you know? Do you care? If you care and want to know more, then listen in and allow the Holy Spirit access to your life...

Pastor Mike continues the study series on the first 3 Chapters of Revelation. This week, Pastor Mike introduces the intent of the Seven Letters and helps us understand the significance of them through out time and most importantly to us today. We define the "church" as a body of believers that have a common foundation and a common goal in Jesus Christ. Through out these letters we will see that Jesus is urgently calling us all to repent and make ready for His soon coming... The question is for you and I, are we listening and willing to do what He is lovingly requiring of us?

Pastor Mike is beginning a series of studies on the book of Revelation beginning with Chapter 1 - The revelation of Jesus... There is a promise of blessing for those that read aloud, listen to, and act upon the knowledge of who Jesus is. This is the beginning of this blessing. This book reveals the awesomeness of Jesus like none other in the entire Bible. The next couple of weeks will be a study of the messages that Jesus brings to the 7 churches of the Province of Asia which interestingly enough is also for us today...

Pastor Mike honors all our veterans and all those that have served to keep us free. Memorial Day is a perfect time to discuss the battle that we all face without exception. This battle is a spiritual battle and it is over our eternal destination. We have a foe, the same one God has. And we have a warfare instruction manual called the Bible. And in this we also know who wins the battle - God! The only choice we have in the matter of warfare is - which side we are on. We must choose if we're on God's side (the winning side) or Satan's side (the loosing side). We choose... If we choose God's side, then we must let the enemy (Satan) know that we've chosen God and that's where we must use our words and prove them with our actions. He can't read our minds. He listens to our words and watches our actions to see if we're serious about our winning the war... Listen in to see how important our words and actions are...

Pastor Mike picks up the topic of "God's Blessings" from before Easter and discusses the "conditional nature of God's Blessings" in our lives. He begins by stating the fact the God wants to bless us. But, first our lives must change from an "enemy of God" into a "child of God". The Holy Spirit is the change agent, we must invite Him and welcome Him into our lives. Then God is able to work on our behalf and bring us blessings according to His perfect will as we purpose to live for Him and be ever drawn closer in relationship with Him...

Special speaker Janenne Pung inspires us with a wonderful Mother's Day message focusing on the power of "Words" in our lives. Beginning with God creating the universe with His Word so are we creators with our words. Created in His image, we also have the power to create or destroy by the words that we choose. God's Word is full of instruction and encouragement in how we speak into our own lives and into the lives of the people that we love the most. Listen in to be encouraged to be wise in how we speak to each other and choose to bless those that God has placed in our lives...

Pastor Mike answers some questions this morning in regards to living a Holy Life. Is it as a result of a Legalistic approach or is it through Holy Conviction? Is there a difference? The first question may be is it necessary to live a holy life or does God accept us as we are? What does God's Word say about obedience and love? Many questions are discussed and answers provided as we look into God's Holy Word.

Pastor Mike asks a somewhat strange question: Is Heaven Really For You? Seems like a strange question to ask. Of course it is, why would you ask? Well, then lets take a look at our lives and see if we're preparing to be in Heaven. Until we understand more about Heaven, how can one say that it's where we want to spend eternity? So this week, we look at Heaven and then look at our lives and see how we're lining up. If a person is going to have to make a pretty drastic change of life-style in order to be able to spend eternity in Heaven, it might be a good indicator that Heaven may not be their final destination... Pretty important question to answer - Is Heaven Really For You? Listen and let's find out...

Pastor Mike summarizes last weeks Palm Sunday message of Two Kingdoms - One King preparing for the Easter message today. Our text for today is Isaiah 53 as given 700 years prior of the crucifixion to the prophet Isaiah. It's hard for mankind to appreciate what happened in the Spiritual World that day other than to say that God was pleased. It was His plan and it came together perfectly to "crush" the power of death and evil for all time. We discuss three questions today: 1. Who Killed Jesus? 2. Did Jesus have a choice? 3. What's your choice today? Listen in as we discuss Easter in maybe a new way and new light... HE LIVES to make intercession for you and I today!

Pastor Mike discusses the significance of Palm Sunday to our lives today. There were two kingdoms represented that day. One was the kingdom of this world and the sin and death that it represents and the other the Kingdom of God and eternal life that God offers. The question for us today is, which kingdom do we choose to live in? One of our own making or the one true Kingdom of God that offers us everything that Jesus came to give us? The choice is yours. Guest Speaker and former pastor Ryp Hankins lays it all on the line for us this morning with a challenging message for us to "Learn" how to Love God and Love People. Ryp really nails it on this one as he clearly brings the importance of allowing the Holy Spirit to work in and thru us as we learn to love and honor people even if it means forgiving them and ourselves for the unthinkable...

Pastor Mike continues in the discussion of how God blesses His children with some things that may not always appear as a "Blessing" in life. We often associate "Blessing" as something that makes our lives easier and more convenient. But God may look at "Blessings" a little differently. His goal for us is eternal life, our focus many times may not match up with that without even realizing it. His ways are higher then ours and his plans are deeper... That's a good thing. We may allow "hindrances" to interfere with that... His first approach in developing "relationship with us" may be good blessings, but if that isn't working for us, then God loves us sooo much that He's willing to bring us some discipline, or delayed answers or maybe even some unexplained situations that would serve to get our attention... Pastor Mike speaks on the Blessings of God - what do they look like? Are God's blessings always good all the time? We are all about being blessed, but what does that really mean? Do we see life the way God does? God sees things through a lens called eternity, we on the other hand are much more focused on the immediate things in life... It's just the way our natural man thinks. So when "bad" things happen do we begin to question the nature of God and the way that He is choosing to think about me, like he forgot me or doesn't hear my prayers for the good things in life? Or maybe we should look at life like God does, eternally focused. What does He need to do so that I stay focused on my relationship with him versus the temporary distractions of this life? Maybe if we see God's perspective we may adjust ours and see true blessings for what they are - the things that take me to my knees...

Pastor Mike continues with the series on giving and tithing. This message encourages us all to see today as the best time to begin or continue to do what God has instructed us to do in the area of tithing and/or increasing in our giving over and above the tithe. This may appear to the world as self serving for the church to encourage this, but if you listen to what God's Word says, the true recipient of giving is the giver as God promises to return to them in multiple ways. Pastor Mike continues teaching on God's plan for us when it comes to our giving, beginning with the Tithe. Giving is one of the first and foremost areas that God teaches us about obedience. God is confident in His ability to take care of our needs as we trust Him with our tithe, which is the first 10% of our income. In fact, He's so confident in his ability, he tells we can "test" him in that. Even so, it's proven a fact, that giving is still hard to do. This message deals with some reasons for that and encourages us all to trust God at His word... Are you ready?
